Like it or not the booing and criticisms of him will only get worse if his play doesn't pick up, not just by the fans, but even other media networks from other teams are getting on his case. If an amnesty isn't the solution (imho should be used on Kleiza), we've little choice but to trade for a quarter on the dollar for him. You can't keep a player around in spite of all the drama accumulating and expect things to somehow pan out. It never works out that way

Just look at what happened with McCabe. It was far worse than the treatment Andrea has been getting during games

Doubt it.

Specialist usually means you are good at one thing. Despite the mythology, Andrea isn't that good of a shooter.

He needs to be moved come hell or high water this offseason.

Now that there's a chance Kleiza could retire this summer, we could amnesty Bargnani get be rid of two albatrosses at once. Such a dream.

It's time to stop fighting over whether or not Bargnani is a great player. He simply "is what he is", and we are stuck with him until BC pulls something out of his ass.

It's up to Casey to find the best way to use Bargnani's unique but limited skill set to the maximum advantage of our team. So far, he hasn't done that and seems to be expecting Bargnani to just find his own way within our new system with Rudy and Kyle at the helm.

I'm not saying Bargnani is blameless - he's not, and it's on him to put up an NBA-level effort every night. But he's not being used properly and it's easy to see. Casey needs to take control here, he got him to buy in last year, get him to do it again this year. If Bargnani plays to his career averages he'll be very useful.

10 minutes a game to give interested players a blow, is making the best use of his talents. Casey is doing a magnificent job with this guy.

So AA and JL3 are taking the shots that Andrea should be taking and somehow they are more interested in the game and Andrea isn't because Andrea is 7ft tall and should be rebounding?? Cause for sure JL3 and AA are bringing it on the glass and on the defensive end right!! (Sarcasm) Those two players are not playing selfishly right...

Some of ya'all refuse to see whats really going on due to hatred for Andrea... Some unjust hatred...

What I find interesting is that Bargnani's getting assisted even more on his 3-point attempts this year and last year and he's shooting sub 30% than in his first season post-Bosh when he was assisted less and shot a higher percentage. Usually players shoot better when they're getting wide open looks that they can spot-up.
Basketball is like poetry in motion, cross the guy to the left, take him back to the right, he's fallin back, then just J right in his face. Then you look at him and say, "What?" - Jesus Shuttlesworth

1) This is a Bargnani thread, not a Lucas or Anderson thread.

2) Lucas and Anderson have fought for years, all over the world, to get a chance in the NBA. If Bargnani fought half as hard to improve himself, he'd be a borderline monster.

Smh at ppl thinking 13 game Bargs was carrying the team.

He has been a player for almost 7 NBA, do people forget that because he showed a bit of flash last year.

Why does Andrea deserve shots more than those two, especially since they are all roughly shooting at the same percentage? Typically your big man is supposed to battle inside and clean up the glass, not wait around at the perimeter and expect everyone to feed him. He has been spoon fed for his entire career and it's time to stop focusing on how the offense needs to get him involved more.

Lucas and Anderson have both been very important to our recent winning stretch. If not for either one of them we literally get 0 (ZERO) production out of our bench unit.
