Paul George free agency

Post#1 » by buffalobulls » Sat May 25, 2013 3:41 am

Don't kill me, but can we sign George next year and trade away anthony? I still think anthony is just as good now, but in a couple years, George is going to be in his prime.

Love the way he plays both ways. And he seems like a great teammate.

Ok forgot the bit about trading away anthony, but can we sign George? I am asking a free agency question. Maybe carmelo and George can play together. George as shooting guard.

It's amazing how some people on this board are bigger Melo fans than Knick fans.

Why would Paul George leave Indiana if they're one of the best teams in the NBA?

I think it's realistic to say that George is gonna be better than Melo is 1-2 years---if he isn't already.

People have had a go at me about my opinions on Paul George (and subsequently Melo since they get compared quite a bit round here), but all I've ever said is that it isn't long to he's a better player than Anthony. By time he is 26-27 I'd imagine he is a top 5 player in the game. Sure he needs to be more efficient from the field, but he has every other aspect already. Him, M Gasol, Aldridge and Curry are probably my fave non Knicks players to watch.

George is a good player, but he couldn't be "the" guy. His defense is helped significantly by having Hibbert back there.

He couldn't be the main offense option right now, in another year or two I think he probably could. Got the tools, needs a more consistent shot.

Melo scored 39 points with a torn Labrum guarding David cry baby West. But George is better...lmao...it's really hard to be patient with some of you...

Did you watch these last two games? The ball has been in his hands at the end of both games.. Vogel is running the offense through him and it's working.

Yeah.. we lost that game. And it's a partially torn labrum... let's at least be accurate about the injury.
