Darvish doesn't qualify for rookie status, too many innings. I picked your keepers since you were late, Henderson and Gattis are rookie eligible.

Darvish qualifies. The rule specifically states no more than 2 years of service OR 250 ip. So he qualifies.

You would need an AND for that to work.
OR means as long as Player A meets one OR the other requirements, then he qualifies.
AND means Player A needs to meet both X and Y requirements to qualify.
