The Thunder ran out of steam in the fourth quarter, but the first game of the Russell Westbrook experience was everything people hoped it would be. Westbrook is going to mount a full-fledged assault on the rest of the league and there’s no player more fun to watch in that scenario. Read More. Written by Jonathan Tjarks on Oct 30, 2014
Robert Covington and the 76ers progressed toward finalizing a multi-year contract this week, but a deal has deteriorated as the two sides failed to agree upon contract length, league sources told RealGM. Read More.
I find interesting the possibility to select his brother with pick 48.
Thanasis can be a good reserve (10 15mpg) and still be important for the development of Giannis. It would help us a lot in future Playoffs, being that good defender who is important to have in the rotation.
I like the idea of getting extra picks to fill out the roster for next year. Then I'd take Thanasis and Kamperidis in the 2nd, not just due to their connections to Giannis but what they can provide the team with.
MK is good at scoring down low in crafty ways, hits threes (didn't hit too many in the U20 but a few), long, capable defender and rebounder (from what I saw of him with Giannis during the Estonian* U20 championships). And Thanasis is a great defender, with explosive athleticism.

Same thing I was thinking. Chris Paul would sh**it gold if he had Giannis on his team to lob the ball too.
Paul''s already got two of the most athletic bigs in the entire league. In my opinion Giannis wouldn't be able to reach his max potential on that team. He'll be better off with the ball in his hands creating for others. Would it be exciting? Of course, but individually I think Giannis can do more for a team than would be asked of him in that situation.
