Don't think it's my year. Miss getting a bye by half a game, now Stanton's face gets in the way of a fastball.

All the best to the finalists.

From having no closers at the beginning of the year, it looks like I might have too many (is that even a problem? not sure myself!) for next year .. so when does trading season start again??

I wouldn't advise it. You'd pretty much be handing over two categories a week in Wins and K's. If the opposing teams starters pitch well, you may lose out on ERA and WHIP too. Three and less is fine.

EDIT: Fully understand this may be off topic but didn't know where else to put it.

Question, I can keep 6 guys. 2 must be hitters, 2 must be pitchers and the other two can be a combo of both or 2 pitchers, 2 hitters, etc.

I'll either place 3rd or 4th, lost in the semifinals in my money league. This is why I hate fantasy sports, you can dominate for an entire season and still end up losing in the playoffs. I ran off a 6 week winning streak, lost one week and then ended the year winning 4 straight weeks. Here are the guys that are keeper worthy:

Hitters: McCutchen, Rendon, Rizzo, Posey, Braun, Arenado
Pitchers: Cueto, Lester, Price, Chen

I was thinking McCutchen, Rendon, Rizzo and Posey for my hitters and wild card. And then keeping Cueto and Lester. Really it's down to Rizzo or Posey vs. Price. I think having half my lineup set for next year would help.
Bickerstaff: who's up for kickball?!!
Ed Wood: Only if it's the no-pants variety.

Cueto, no doubt.

McCutchen, Posey, Rizzo, and Rendon for me.

Its between Lester and Price for me. Price we know where he'll be next year, Lester we dont.

Wouldnt be surprised if Lester goes to Cubs.

Always try to think if other owners would keep a player. I think the hitters for sure, especially since second, third and catcher are generally positions of weakness. Cueto is a no brainer, Lester I actually drafted. If I let Price go, he'll be drafted in the first round of the actual draft for sure. Lester seems to always go under the radar, he's such a solid pitcher...I'll keep Price. Thanks for the advice.

After 6 years of mediocrity, I'v finally made it to the finals! Let's see if I can stay hot and pull off the upset.

Yeah, now that I think about it .. in addition to sitting Wheeler, having 3 relievers when you were pretty much tanking saves was my undoing. I never was gonna compete with you for the hitting stats, but should have done more with the pitching especially with you having your top pitchers on the DL!

Congrats to TyCobb on winning his final "MLB Dynasty League" with his current core ;) Seriously though, dominant season and post season run.

MauveAvenger, great job!. The final was pretty close until the last day and I think you might have been leading till then as well.

And since I didn't get an answer to this the last time I asked, when can we start trading again?

Yeah, congrats to Mauve... I had to pay attention real close and do some same day managing. Was worried about the outcome once Tanaka got lit up.

This season just made last seasons Finals loss suck that much more. Sigh

I assume trading season is officially open.

Lots of changes in the MLB landscape .. Red Sox seem to doing a great job of retooling. Panda & Hanley, with Lester possibly on the way .. wow!
