would cleveland trade #12 and #19?

Post#1 » by shagadelic45 » Tue Mar 17, 2015 8:30 pm

would the browns trade #12 and #19 to move up to the top part of the first round?

how high could they get?

whom would they go after?

thought maybe oakland at #4 might be an interesting trade partner.....

I can't see why a team with as many holes to plug as Cleveland (QB, WR, TE, OL, DT, S) would package both their 1sts to move up. If they did, it would almost certainly to target Mariota.

I think that it would be stupid to give up on Manziel after one year. You don't give up on 1st round qb's after a rough rookie season. Then again, this is the Browns, so........

yea i dont think they should trade up for a qb, after just drafting manziel....but could see them doing it

also think trading up to #4 with oakland to take a wr (cooper or white) might be a good idea

More likely, we see the Browns trading out of the first with one of those picks to add an additional 2016 #1. They are either going to win with Johnny, or they are playing for his replacement: Jones, Hackenberg, or Cook.

this seems the smarter play. Give Manziel another year, and if he falters make a run at one of next year's big guns.

I would say either staying put and taking the BPA or trading one of them for a 2nd/early 3rd and a 1st next year would be better moves than packaging them to move up.

There's plenty of guys in the 10-20 range who would hit value and need for Cleveland.

They better not. Trading up to reach for a QB is something they have tried on multiple occasions. It hasn't worked. There is no Luck in this draft worth trading for.
