2015 NFL Draft Thread

Both Washington and NY (and NO) are following what the Cowboys have been doing the last few years and building their team the right way, from the inside out. The NFL is a copycat league and the Cowboys have shown that it works. I think all three teams made very solid picks. Are they the "sexy" pick? Nope, but the picks will save their QB's and help their run game.

I wonder if the Chargers really had to trade their 4th round pick this year and 5th next year to move up a couple of spots. Obviously the Niners were not enamored enough with Gordon to take him, but would Houston have taken him at 16?

I'm trying to really like the pick, from most accounts Scherff is the best o-lineman in the draft and the Giants were looking at him at 9 supposedly. Sounds like a good player, and they'll start him off at right tackle and see what happens. Let Callahan coach him up.

Why? Their Oline stinks and they need some pieces on defense, so they use a 2nd straight 1st rounder on a WR when they have TY, Andre Johnson, Moncrief, and Duron carter already. Didn't make a lot of sense to me.

They were afraid of Huston taking Gordon, which was possible, bot not all that likely.

Was thinking more about the player and how he'll fit into that offense, I'm pretty high on Dorsett. I do agree that they have other needs and probably should have traded out if they had no 1st round grades at OL or DB but it does seem like a BPA pick for them, which I can't knock entirely if this guy was high on their board.
