In order to show appreciation for your participation on the HEAT forum, your moderator team has created awards that will be given to top poster to recognize their
contributions to the board - and get you some "RealGM cred" as well
Who is considered a "Top Poster"?
Moderator will select monthly candidates that meet the following criteria:
- Contributes often to the boards
- Quality content/posts
- Promotes discussions and activity on the boards
- Handles himself/herself with class
- Ultimate representative of HEAT fans on other boards
Your moderator team will select 3 "Top Posters" and display their names at the top of the forum page as "Top Posters" for the month. Also, 1 poster out of the "Top Posters" selections for that month will be named "Poster of the Month".
In addition, at the end of every basketball season, your moderator team will select an MVP or "Most Valuable Poster" for the year. This poster will receive a special recognition that is still being worked out with the site administrators.

Happy New Year Heat fans! We hope you had a great holiday and New Years last, but it's that time again!
Posters of the Month: December 2015
1. gom - was chosen as #1, as he has continued to contribute with depth analysis, personal opinions, as well as giving Heat fans a good name in other forums such as the Trade forum.
2. Chalm Down - has been chosen as #2 because we have noticed he's been consistent and conscientious of his activity. We thought it was time Chalm Down was recognized, and you deserve it!
3. Bishop45 - was chosen as #3 because he's been active and posting his thoughts, no matter if it's not popular or not. On the forums we encourage you all to post whatever you feel, as we are here to discuss our Heat team, and Bishop45 has done just that
Congrats to these users, as the moderator team has found these individuals to be key contributors for our forums for December. We consider the PoTM title to be important and we want you guys to know, it comes with great responsibility. These users have kept out of trouble and have sparked activity around the board, earning this recognition. Keep up the good work!
