Hey all, figured I'd check in, I'm on vacation but managed to catch the overtime in Spanish! Amazing win against the Pats, whose asses are always fun to kick. Super hyped that the tables turned with a Pitt loss, we were pretty close to the Chiefs losing too and getting to that 5th seed, but alas.

Being from Canada it's hard to access Jets games, but I'm going to my first one next week! Making the drive down to Buffalo and gonna watch the game in front of the fat and angry Bills fans. Can't wait, it's gonna be a hell of a time. Marshall and Revis were giant today, really proved their worth.

I also stand by this statement wholly, Mac deserves Executive of the Year if the Jets make the playoffs. Got Fitz and Marshall for next to nothing and revamped our secondary to what it is now. It's been a hell of a season and I sure didn't want to see it end today.

The coin toss thing was weird. It was like the Patriots got raped. "Which way y'all wanna receive at?" I was dying when I heard that. But why would they chose to kick? The ref even checked with Bellicheat to make sure that's why he wanted. The Patriots were very weird in their decision making this game. Normally you'd expect them to run the 2 minute drill with Brady to close the half and get a score. They are usually very good at that but they uncharacteristically took the knee. That along with choosing to kick in OT had me scratching my head. Do they want the Jets in the playoffs?

It's not the first time Belichick has elected to kick in OT, the only way I can rationalize it is that he was confident his defense could force a 3&out, and then from that point a score wins the game so you just do a decent enough drive to get Gos in FG range. Bold, luckily the Jets foiled it by going on their TD drive.

If you wanted to speculate like that, the better route to take is that they wanted to keep Pitt out of the playoffs given that they're an incredibly dangerous team who would've been legit Super Bowl contenders.

Officially going on Sunday! First Jets game ever. Catch me repping, hoping I'll be near the Jets sideline but I have to figure it out.
