The Braves have traded Jeff Francouer to the Marlins in a 3 team deal with the Rangers. The Braves receive SS prospect Dylan Moore from the Rangers and 1b/C prospect Matt Foley from the Marlins. The Rangers get 2 international bonus slots from the Marlins and 1 from the Braves.

D'backs won 10-9 last night. In two games since returning from the DL, Teheran is 0-1 in 11 IP allowing 17 hits, 9 ER, 2 HR 3 BB and 9 Ks. Surprisingly he didn't get the loss last night, even though he allowed 6 ER. :banghead:

Last night was exciting with the exception of our poor pitching.
Our offense continued to fight until the end.

I feel bad for the guy too, he just can't stay consistent. His biggest downfall.

This also shows, that Coppy will get some kind of return, for players that don't have much value. He is killing other GMs. :lol:

It wouldn't surprise me if Francouer ends up back with the Braves next year - and they trade him again - see Kelly Johnson.

Dylan Moore seems like an interesting prospect - just old after recently turning 24 (how horrible for him!). Problem is - he's just got his feet wet in high A. Therefore, he's considered way over-aged and dismissed by the "experts". But I wouldn't write the guy off - since he's hit real well for a SS where he's played, he's got over 40 steals this season, and he supposedly has the versatility to play several positions. Could be a super-sub type in the future - who knows. I'd at least wait to see how he does in AA next year before writing him off.

Matt Wisler takes the mound for us today.
I'd love to see him get a big underdog win tonight. Our offense could use a win after fighting so hard last night for us.

Looks like Wisler's demotion was good for him, as he returned to Atlanta to pitch 8 strong innings in a win vs D'backs. Braves won 3-1, Wisler 8 IP 2 H 1 ER 3 BB 4 Ks on 103 pitches
