The road wins (undefeated) are the impressive ones. Historically they've never been a good road team.

Harrison Barnes
Another 30 pt game, and he's leading the league in minuets. He has a lot of dudes eating crow. I always liked his game, kind of felt he got overshadowed in GS. Really good to see him ballin.

Re: Harrison Barnes
I didn't believe this could happen but I guess he is having the Harden after OKC season where he is showcasing his talents now. His footwork and handles are very nice and efficient.

I always said he just needed an opportunity. Its sad how many people slept on this kid, especially his former "fans" in golden state

Like I said in the last thread - what's better than proving everyone wrong when they doubted you?

I'm rooting for him. He was a role player blamed for the team not repeating. Screw that.

Re: Harrison Barnes
Didn't believe in him at all, thought he would at best get maybe 15 a night in a secondary role. Now he's giving a dead franchise a future, giant signing.

Re: Harrison Barnes
This is turning out to be a hell of a signing for Dallas so far. Dude is balling. Smart player too. Doesn't really force anything either

Re: Harrison Barnes
His offense and defense combined makes him a great talent. You might actually be able to build a team around this guy.
Looks like the best free agency signing (besides Durant) at $24 mill a year. Only knock on Dallas is it's only for 3 years, if he plays this well he'll opt out of year 4 for the max.

Re: Harrison Barnes
Barnes' ability to guard 1-4, sometimes 5 makes him more valuable than his jump shot offense...

Re: Harrison Barnes
I don't think he'll be as good as Harden impact-wise. It's still fairly early so I'm leaving my judgment until January. But so far, he's looked good for Dallas. I still don't think he deserved the money that Dallas paid him.

Harden shot 65% TS in Okrahoma city. That's just unbelievable. In fact I'm pretty sure I made that up. It never happened.

Let's playin for 9th!

Re: Harrison Barnes
Still too early. But at least he is showing legitimate signs that he can carry the load.

Re: Harrison Barnes
He's shooting 59% right now on mid-range shots between 16-24ft. That will come down sooner or later (he shot 50.9% from that range in GS last year and 40% the previous year). I'm a bit surprised though that he has been getting into the paint (and finishing there) on a frequent basis and is even adding a few FTs these last couple of games.

Lets talk about Damian Lillard
Averaging 33/6/5 on 50/40/90 shooting 8 games in. He's vastly improved at the rim and at drawing fouls. Guy keeps getting better. Proved all the people who said he'd peak early due to his age completely wrong.

He was my darkhorse MVP candidate and he still is. This guy is just an amazing player.

Re: Harrison Barnes
Golden State dropped the ball on this one. Bob Myers and his "light years ahead" owner Joe Lacob completely miscalculated on Harrison Barnes.
Imagine if the Warriors could have got this type of production from Barnes during the Finals? I think Golden State wins and Durant doesn't join them.
Congrats to Mark Cuban for getting it right this time after busting on Parsons and Matthews. I'm happy to see a decent team around Dirk before he retires (which will be a very sad day, one of my fave players ever).

I'm not sold yet. I need to see more but it is very encouraging. Nice piece to start building around.

One of my favs in the league. I look at him as an underdog. I hope he continues to improve.
