Looks like other than the Michigan/OSU game the two games with most implications are PAC12 games with the Washington schools and Utah/Colorado. Which is strange as bad as Colorado and Wazzou have been for so long.

Agreed. I've never been too impressed with him. There's a reason things didn't work out for him at A&M.

Remember how there was all that debate about whether Nebraska was a top-10 team, and Sagarin, Massey, and FPI (and me ) all said, "That's ridiculous"?

Nebraska just lost by 30 to an unranked team.

By the way, is Wisconsin going to have any wins against ranked opponents after this week? Nebraska is gonna plummet. Nobody else is ranked right now. Maybe LSU sneaks into the top 25? Or Iowa?

I was just thinking this morning about how comical it is that TEXAS A&M was #4 in the first CFP poll. Then all non-SEC fans said how absolutely stupid and ridiculous the committee was being, and SEC fans were appalled by the fact that anyone would even question their ranking?

Houston and Boise State lost, and Western Michigan impressed. So they're in the driver's seat for New Year's Six slot.

I'd be surprised if Fleck hasn't had some pretty nice offers before now. And he seems pretty dedicated to WMU. However, I think he will one day be looked at as one of the best coaches in the game, and I have a really hard time seeing anyone saying no to the big bucks some of the P5 schools can offer, so we'll see.

After the announcement a few minutes ago about Herman to Texas, I'm guessing that LSU only stuck with Orgeron because Herman said he wasn't interested. I've always liked Herman, it's unfortunate that I won't be able to root for him anymore.

So I'm seeing a bunch of salty Houston fans and players on Twitter right now about Herman leaving for Texas. And I just have to ask. Why? Can anybody in the world blame him? He's a smart man who is an excellent coach and he's about to get PAID as head coach of one of the most storied football programs in the country. How could you be mad?

i am sure they all understand why he left, doesnt mean they should be happy about a losing a good coach. they root for university of houston, not herman family.

I've seen multiple tweets comparing Herman to Judas. They don't have to continue to support him or anything, but I'm amazed how much saltiness I'm seeing.

I'm trying to catch some of this Louisville - Kentucky game during the OSU - Michigan commercials, but every damn time I turn to it they're on a commercial. EVERY TIME.
