Ok, then I would say you think Rodgers is the most TALENTED QB of all time. That's fair. Because you're thinking from the beginning.
I think "greatest" should be reserved for who has PERFORMED the best (thinking from the end).
...Although nobody even comes close to Steve Young's efficiency numbers against the average.
I don't know how you want to label it...he's just the best QB I've ever watched, and he'd be my pick out of all the QBs if I'm starting a team. To me that makes him the GOAT at this point.
Same holds true for my boy Watt. I'm taking him over any other DE ever. Even Smith and White.
So you're saying his peak is higher than anyone else's peak?
I think you should have to keep up that level of play overa long enough period of time & produce the greatest resume (especially in the postseason) to be the greatest, but that's just me. If he Matt Ryans his way to zero more postseason wins the rest of his career, I don't even think he belongs in the same category as Peyton (although I'm confiident he won't do that).
OT: Matt Ryan is a fraud, and he's going to prove it next week.
I'm saying he's the best QB ever. He's produced enough in my eyes...he doesn't need 4 SBs to prove it, because that is largely circumstance. He didn't play under Walsh or Belichik.
