Ok, then I would say you think Rodgers is the most TALENTED QB of all time. That's fair. Because you're thinking from the beginning.

I think "greatest" should be reserved for who has PERFORMED the best (thinking from the end).

...Although nobody even comes close to Steve Young's efficiency numbers against the average.

I don't know how you want to label it...he's just the best QB I've ever watched, and he'd be my pick out of all the QBs if I'm starting a team. To me that makes him the GOAT at this point.

Same holds true for my boy Watt. I'm taking him over any other DE ever. Even Smith and White.

So you're saying his peak is higher than anyone else's peak?

I think you should have to keep up that level of play overa long enough period of time & produce the greatest resume (especially in the postseason) to be the greatest, but that's just me. If he Matt Ryans his way to zero more postseason wins the rest of his career, I don't even think he belongs in the same category as Peyton (although I'm confiident he won't do that).

OT: Matt Ryan is a fraud, and he's going to prove it next week.

I'm saying he's the best QB ever. He's produced enough in my eyes...he doesn't need 4 SBs to prove it, because that is largely circumstance. He didn't play under Walsh or Belichik.

His coach is pretty damn good, actually (can't believe he came from the Nolan Niners :noway: ).

What are your criteria for best QB ever? For me it's (efficiency + postseason success) x longevity

...and yes I realize I'm typing this in the middle of Rodgers significantly adding to his resume on that 2nd criterion.

Matt Ryan & Dak Prescott are going to have their regular-season hype balloons popped next week.

Put those guys on the Niners, and they'd have below-average seasons.

Don't have a set criteria. Just enough production to warrant enough tape for the eyeball test. Aaron Rodgers and Peyton Manning, to me, as the two best QBs of all time.

All of the other stuff, like SB wins/playoffs appearances, is largely circumstance and situation-based. Would Rodgers have more SBs by now had he been playing for Belichik, for instance? I'd say yes.

Brian Billick:

Miami boat opinion 1 of 9: what #Giants WR's did wasn't against rules...it was their free time & they are grown-ups. Doesn't make it right.

Miami boat 2: Understand, I was a coach that didn't have bed check and allowed my players plenty of freedoms others didn't.

Miami boat 3: Given the circumstances I'd have done exactly what McAdoo did by Publicly supporting my players. Publicly. But privately...

Miami boat 4: I'd have immediately called each into office, made them explain why they thought that was smart. Understand decision process.

Miami boat 5: Because what they did was selfish and stupid. Someone focused on a championship doesn't makes those decisions.

Miami boat 6: If realize what they did was selfish. Fine. Young players making bad choice. But if they don't, that's the bigger issue.

Miami boat 7: does it have an impact on this game? Probably not. But it's the attitude and mentality I'm concerned about moving forward.

Miami boat 8: Lifestyle eventually catches up on a professional level. Not catastrophically per say, but may look back and wish did more.

Miami boat 9: just wait 4 more weeks...Then you can party on a yacht in Miami as a Super Bowl Champ! Trust me, it's even sweeter that way.

FINAL: Did boat trip make OBJ and SS drop 2 TD passes? No. Was it a distraction? Yes. Will they have to answer for it all offseason? Yes.

Fewer and fewer people of reason in the league anymore it feels like. What a good man. One of a million reasons why he could/should be coaching somebody again if his heart could get back into it. This might be one of my all-time favorite things ever constructed on Twitter.

I hope Atlanta beats up on the Seahawks next week. The only thing almost as good as a 49er win is a Seahawk loss

Amen. But I am not sure who wins that games, its tough :)....In the other games I have New England over Houston, Pittsburgh to go into Arrowhead and win, and I have the red hot Packers winning in Dallas. They have the better defense.

Won't happen. Matt Ryan would have to not suck for that to happen, and we all know that's nearly impossible.

I think it can happen. Seattle's defense hasn't been that good and they are not that good on the road.

I am MEH on the other teams but hate Seattle because of their thug players and the obnoxious 12s who love to troll us

Raiders still pull it out vs Houston

Seahawks hold ground vs Detroit

Steelers stay steeling

Pack rolls on

OK!!!! 3/4 is a good start!!!!

My picks for the divisional round:
Falcons upend the Seahawks once again

Patriots get a quick workout and awaits the title gm

KC!! Yes, going for the Chiefs in a battle vs Pitt.

My gut tells me Cowboys but my selfish desires want Pack.... I'll hope for Packers.

Its a combination of Seattle not being their best on both sides of the ball and ATL being fantasy machine this season.

If Julio is above 80% healthy he will make an impact.

I don't trust ATL defense at all but being at home, i think the offense carrys enough for the win vs Seattle.

And Seattle has struggled on offense at times this year even against mediocre defenses
