Chaz actually played well once he got healthy. He got better the more snaps he was getting until he got hurt again. That's really going to be the issue with him, can he stay healthy.

I know Romo is a big topic, but why can't Jerry just promise him a trade if his contract gets reworked.

I'm not sure how something like that would work. I will say that the Cowboys are better off keeping Romo. Showcase him in the preseason. If he plays well and stays healthy his value skyrockets.

Can't really promise him a trade if the other teams are pretty certain they can pick him up after he's cut.

Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott seen exposing woman's breast during Dallas St. Patrick's Day parade
http://sportsday.dallasnews.com/dallas-cowboys/cowboys/2017/03/13/cowboys-rb-ezekiel-elliott-seen-exposing-womans-breast-dallas-st-patricks-day-parade?_ga=1.184936105.1200588707.1472593646

Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott was caught on camera pulling on a woman's shirt and exposing her left breast during Saturday's St. Patrick's Day parade in Dallas.

Elliott was seen partying on a Greenville Avenue bar's roof with a group of people during the parade.

In a video shared by TMZ, Elliott can be seen pulling down the woman's shirt to show her breast after she motions at them and then points at Elliott.

To be fair - this happens on Greenville Ave. all the time.

Also the girl was actually asking him to pull her top down and partied with Zeke and his friends after it happened.

Tony Romo earned $64.11 for that one series against the Eagles. Can't make it up.

Looks like our defense is going to have a different look to it, especially in the secondary.

I heard they offered him $5 mil a year but he turned that down. I hope they do give him the $7 mil. That will be another comp pick. I think that would make 5 comp picks in 2018.

No chance the Ravens nor the Jets nor anyone else were going to give him that. I guess he can prove he's worth it by trying to replace Revis.

OK. I'm drinking the kool aid. Savoring it. This will be the ultimate test of the McClay/S. Jones/Garrett regime. If they hit home runs this draft like they did last year... and actually fix the defense, then I have a real, real good feeling about where our heroes are heading going forward.

Method to the madness: Why Stephen Jones isn't fretting over Cowboys' free-agent losses
http://sportsday.dallasnews.com/dallas-cowboys/cowboys/2017/03/26/method-madness-stephen-jones-fretting-cowboys-free-agent-losses

"Right now, going into the draft, we feel really good about our numbers. But at the same time we feel this is going to be a great opportunity for us to improve on the defensive side of the ball.

"It just so happens we feel the draft is inordinately strong on the defensive side of the ball."

"Players we want to keep, we keep them. Most of these players, I'm not going to single out guys, but most of them we were ready to let move on. Now, there were a few if they would have been for the right price, we would have done it. But we certainly didn't want to get into overpaying for anybody. At the end of the day, we value our players. At certain numbers, it's efficient for us to sign them. At other numbers, it's not."

"We think some of the best depth in the draft is the defensive line and the secondary in our view. Now let me be real clear. If a great offensive player shows up that's of great value to us, that doesn't mean we aren't going to pick an offensive player. But our focus is on defense."

I definitely like hearing Stephen confirm that their plan is to build through the draft. Maybe sign a reasonably priced FA here and there but the main focus is on bringing in players through the draft. Also like hearing their focus is on the defensive side.

Screw that. We need pieces on offense and more depth.
