Everything pointed to a WR in Paces first draft and a pass rusher in his second. There's only position on this team that is still lacking a starting caliber player. That's DE.

All I'm saying is with Floyd and White we didn't hear this kind of marriage as the draft approached... Watch the pick be Thomas.

I think Garrett, Thomas and Allen will all go in the top three. That leaves Chicago without a choice as far as which one they end up getting.

Looking around at what all the experts are saying, they're switching from Allen to Adams. That's the new marriage, the new buzz, and it's loud. I don't know if Pace somehow pulled off some misdirection, or if the health concerns and poor combine are steering draft analysts that way. Either way the buzz is no longer around Allen

I wouldnt be surprised at this point if Pace took Watson at #3

I definitely heard stuff linking Floyd and the Bears together closer to the draft and he was getting mocked to us a lot. As for White I was expecting someone in the group of Shelton, Williams, Cooper and Beasley. The White pick railroaded me.

I'd be shocked if they did. Basically you would have to start Watson. Not getting any immediate production from your #3 overall pick is a bitter pill to swallow.

I get the impression they are going to let Mike Glennon breathe by not taking a QB in the first round, but if Mahomes, Peterman, Kaaya, Webb were at one of their picks later they'd pick one of them to give him some competition.

I think it's possible the Texans are the only team that drafts a QB in round 1.

I think Cleveland will trade for Garoppolo and SF will wait a year to draft a better qb because they'll be bad no matter what and everyone knows it. Or at least I think that's possible.

We might be the second team to take a QB. I think they'll take a really close look at the top 3 or 4 QBs on their board and if the right one is on the board, take him. Unless someone much better like Zay Jones, Willis, or Robinson drops

I wouldn't be surprised if the Steelers went for someone like Kizer if he fell far enough. Roethisberger has been hinting at retiring soon.

The more I think about it the more I'd be ok if the bears decided on Thomas over Allen. Thomas has the versatility of Micheal Bennett plus the strength and speed of Carlos Dunlap.

That would be misuse of that pick. Stick with the player grades.

Seeing a lot of talk the pick is between Thomas and Adams.

Thomas has been my guy!

I think 3 is to high for Adams w that pay scale.

I want to see Floyd and Thomas chase the QB. We would have an elite D.

I could see them taking him, but not in the first round. Definitely in the second if he's there then. He's got the athleticism, strength and arm talent. Just needs to learn how it apply those traits more effectively. Roethlisberger would be a perfect guy for him to learn from with his traits

Mahomes is said to be comparable to Cutler.

Everything is quiet around Davis Webb. Best arm in the country (with Mahomes), prototyping size, good accuracy, makes quick decisions (but needs to be a little more consistent with that) puts great touch on passes when he needs to, good footwork in the pocket, compact throwing motion. He will be a good player with a year or two to learn the offense and be able to make quick reads.

The guy put up better stats and more wins with a lesser team than Goff. He's not mobile, that's why he's not sexy like Mahomes or Trubisky or any of these guys really. Btw he is the best passer.

Kyle Long is going out of his way to tweet Soloman Thomas is the most NFL ready prospect in the draft. Kyle is always subtweeting.

Kind of looks like Bears are considering not drafting a QB this time around.

I'm starting to see Jamal Adams to us at 3 a lot as well. That just doesn't make sense. We already had Amos who has been really good and with now having competent secondary teammates he has the chance to be great. We just signed Demps, i''m assuming to be a starter. No way we take a safety at 3 especially since its such a deep position this year.

It seems like Garret Bolles has rocketed up pretty much every board. He's most likely going to get picked in the 1st. He's crazy athletic and, for the most part, people can't shed his blocks. I think if we can trade down to 10-16, we should draft him. He has the ability to play LT in his rookie season, assuming he adds to his frame. It all comes down to whether you want a pass blocker or pass rusher. I think in today's NFL it is important to get an elite LT and Bolles has that potential. We already have a very established defense, with DE being our only need for starters on defense.

I think if we can trade down and add Bolles plus more picks to take DEs we should do it. I think the saints could be a good target. They now have two 1st and most likely would use those for defense. If they could be convinced they need a supreme playmaker on defense instead of to quality unknowns, then maybe the pull the trigger.
