Tanking that far out is crazy. Nobody knows what's going to happen and no one player is worth throwing away a roster and to be the worst, that's pretty much what you have to do. Most NBA players want to win - EVERY GAME! NBA coaches want to win every game even more than the players do.

Let's carry it to the extreme and start tanking for Steph Curry's son and maybe LeBron James' son.

I am not interested in tanking for anybody at this point, I am however ready for a youth movement to take over and sign some veteran defensive bench depth and see what happens. Worse case scenario we end up with a good pick, best case we end up with a young growing playoff team.

It is too late, so this thread bump is pointless. If Denver loses all 19 remaining games until the end of the season and finishes the season with 35-47 record, it would be enough to get a #10 pick from upcoming 2018 draft in the best case. Luka Doncic belongs to TOP5 picks by all current projections.

From Luka Doncic development perspective almost every team currently deeply involved in the tanking process would be a good solution because of they all desperately need their new franchise player or at least co-star if they already have someone notable. And Luka can play pg-sg-sf so he will find his place easily on every team.
