This will be my last season unless someone wants to take over now. I have no issues with roster management on Yahoo but RealGM is just not a place I visit anymore...

We hate to see you go but as you can tell from this thread outside of the draft no one posts here.

Sly, nice doing business with you. Harrell will now likely become an all-star. I needed a guard and as much as I don't like Wade he has been rather consistent over his 30 year NBA career.

Two trades in the NBA over the last couple days and unlike in years past these actually seem to benefit my team.

Jusuf Nurkic to Portland - He should be their starting center which means a huge increase in playing time. Denver acquiring Plumlee shouldn't hurt the value of Nikola Jokic as he seems to be a big part of their future.

Serge Ibaka to Toronto - This shouldn't have much of an impact on Lucas Nogueira as he has been coming off the bench and is more of a center. If the Raptors could move Valanciunas that would be a huge boost. But the biggest beneficiary of the trade should be Aaron Gordon who should now be seeing plenty of minutes at his natural power forward position.

We should add some incentive for winning consolation playoff matchups. I've made it to the "final" of the consolation round and it feel weird to be trying to win matchups that can only hurt my pick. Just something to think about next year. Not sure what the fix should be.

Lotto balls are based on regular season standings. Win away. :)

The winner of the consolation round receives the WritersBlock memorial trophy. It is a metaphoric trophy not a physical one.

As commissioner it is my duty to congratulation The Team on winning their first FFDL championship. Good job.

Congratulations also to Dynamoose on winning the WritersBlock memorial consolation round trophy. Good job.

League business time:
OldNo7 indicated his desire to relinquish his team. So we need to start looking for a replacement.

Also, I am wondering when people would like to do the draft lottery. In the past he did it the night of NBA lottery but recently it has been done in the fall closer to our draft. Whatever, the group wants works for me.

Thanks. I was a hard fought battle. East is a worthy opponent. I am proud of how the guys played down the line but I think it mostly came down to health.

^ Great job! Love dynasty leagues... that infusion of youth is pretty critical for future years but can also be a huge piece in those final few weeks. Winning without Simmons, Nurkic, Winslow was pretty huge... plus Melo and Wade who barely played. Well earned and great season.

Winslow was on my roster the whole season until I dropped him near the end to pick up Ulis I think. He was picked up by TheTeam just to fill their DL spot :)

Anyway, congrats TheMan!

Hopefully one of these years I won't need to use my DL spots :(

I think this was one of my healthier years.

For some reason east didn't use his IL spots. Had he I am not sure I would have won.

Fraan is a cocky sob but one hell of a fantasy BB manager. He has my endorsement

most important this is a dinasty so depending on the team he had it could take a couple of time to fight for the championship
