I didn't watch the first half, thought I'd give the game a chance at halftime, saw what happened and turned my tv off again.

Braunschweig shouldn't even have to play these 2 stupid games and the league keeps screwing them.

As a fan of a BuLi2 team who's best chance of making the first league is slipping in as the third promotion team I'd be all for eliminating the relegation playoff...and increasing the number of first league clubs to 20...but Braunschweig will be another Darmstadt or Ingolstadt next season. Defensively cautious, but toothless outside of counters & set pieces.

FC VW at least has some interesting talent in midfield (Conde, Bazoer, Arnold) & attack (Didavi, Gomez, Ntep, Malli, Stefaniak, Mayoral, Osimhen, Brekalo, Azzaoui) if they can fix up their defense (outside of LB where Gerhardt & Horn is a good duo even after RiRo is sold) & bring in the right coach.

Right now is the first match between 1860 Munich and Regensburg.

Hopefully 1860 stays. A Traditionsverein that should be playing in the Bundesliga.

This would be the "optimal" Bundesliga if you look at fanbase, tradition, geography etc.

You could be right! But imo only teams with a certain plan, with a clear line should stay in Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga. That is the most important thing.
With 1860 there's a man with Ismaik who only wants to enforce his on interests, and not the interests which is good the entire club.

Even in this game, the players of 1860 doesn't have internalised that these two games decide about the own future. There's no game plan and no balance on both ends. You especially can recognize at their body language.

I mean, I don't even disagree. It would be nice to have them in the BL. But at some point you have to be punished for making bad choices for 10+ years without learning anything.

Football and sports is unfair sometimes. The system is even more unfair in England where you can get promoted even though you finished 6th place. But it's great drama.

Tonight will be the next soccer game. Dortmund will go on one against Frankfurt in the german DFB-cup. Concerning the strengths of both teams, dortmund normally have to win the cup. But the cup has its own rules.

If the BVB looses the next opportunity on a title, it will be "Vizekusen 2.0"

Well, that signing(and Dortmund winning the cup) should open the door for you guys to sign Andre Hahn for about €5M.
