BJJ, I envy your optimism. Why do you feel so good about the Cowboys draft? I like Taco, but it seems pretty average at first glance to me
Perhaps I see, hear and interpret things differently than you. I guess its time to fire up the smack talk thread again,

Bleu, when isn't he optimistic?

After hitting in the draft last year along with the season we had, why wouldn't I be optimistic this young upcoming team :eyebrows: ?

Bucs fan here. OJ Howard is a huge pick up, with so many offensive threats now I've been seeing the Bucs spike in the power rankings for this upcoming season. The other players are great compliments. Not to mention the Desean Jackson signing.

9/10 A+ for me

I like the Bucs draft. Then again, it was bound to look good since they didn't take a kicker in the second round this year. Justin Evans was a nice pickup though, and McNichols is an absolute stud who I think will have a great NFL career. Guess they like those Boise State RB's.

Haven't heard from Jwise either for a long time. I think he is dating Magic Johnson's son this spring and summer.

Same here. Got carried away with my tar heels and dove into the early spring horse racing. I'm now ready for football. Sure is quiet around here in the off season without Ernie and all his predictions,

It's been a decent spring weather wise. Usually from May-October the weather is good.

I actually liked the Rams draft. Cracked me up how many people said we "mortgaged the future" in the trade up last year...but we ended up with 8 draft picks this year, and have a full complement going forward...anyway..

Gerald Everett pick was kind of shocking. I thought TE was a possibility given that McVay loved using Jordan Reed, but I wasn't anticipating Everett..

Kupp was a great pick. John Johnson is someone I think fits the defense really well. Reynolds was a solid pick.

Ebukam, Smart and Price were outstanding picks for where they were drafted. Ebukam under Wade Phillips could turn into a monster, and Smart provides solid depth along the DL.

Overall I give it a B+ given that we had no first round pick.

Wouldn't surprise me if you guys swept the Sea Hawks this year.
