I think Riley can convince him. Nobody is more LA then Pat Riley.

Now whether we pull the trigger on that deal knowing PG could walk is the multi-million dollar question.

Pat Riley definitely needs to have a chat with PG to see where his head is at lol.

If it comes down to it, do we have 2 first round picks we can trade away or are still in the position where we can't trade future 1st.

We can trade the 14th and Winslow. That's two first round picks.

yup that seems very reasonable to what they asked for.

I'd be willing to throw JRich if needed. They can absorb Mcroberts for us, he becomes a nice trade piece for them as an expiring later in the year.

If it happens lock in the great white hope

The prophecy will have been fulfilled

We would literally have no bench though, I don't know about giving up J Rich. They can definitely have mcRoberts though.

Screw the damn bench, that's what the D League is for

Thing is, if he's dead set on LAL then why broadcast to the rest of the league that he's forcing a trade? Why not just keep silent and sign with LAL next offseason (thereby not gutting their roster like Melo did with NYK) or simply force Indiana into a sign-and-trade deal next offseason?

To be honest that injury is better than an ACL tear. It was a clean break.

I think he knows what he wants and just wanted to be up front with the FO. I'm not sure he was trying to be public, think Woj is just speaking from inside source. Last week George said publicly that he wants to stay and win Indy a 'chip

Cause he's not an A-Hole. He's telling the Pacers FO right now that he's gone so they're not blindsided and so that they don't resign Teague to the max and spend the year trying to please him when he's leaving anyway.

I don't think he's predisposed to broken bones, he just got unlucky. Like other people said, it's better to have a clean bone break than some muscle injury like an ACL which will never fully recover.

On Pacers board they seem to think his agent leaked it. I'm not sure if that's fact or emotion based speculation tho

Maybe intent is not the issue in the leak in Indy. Just not buying into some diabolical scheme, just seen to many times that it is a simpler answer than a complicated one.

Betting that it is as simple as some lowbie whom was in the right place and the right time opened his/her trap. Whether if it's from PG's Camp or that of Pacers. Neither party benefits from this coming out.

Indy gets no trade value and PG lowers prospective suitors.... Lose Lose!

Just .02 cents worth!

Even if Cavs got PG, dubs still take it in a series.

This to me is big because whomever leaked this info basically eliminated PG's trade value and is forcing LAL to pony up now for a player they could have got for nothing a year from now.

Let's say somehow someway he trade for PG13. Would that make Blake be a better option in FA over Hayward?

Not in my book cuz Blake is already a lane clogger along with Hassan. Definitely would take Hayward over him, Cap Numbers notwithstanding.
