NCAA Water Polo Championship. UOP versus USC. USC comes back to snatch the game from Pacific. Agonizing.

I always go back-and-forth on which series was more hurtful. The '77 Finals to Portland or '81 ECF to the Celtics. I cried in 77, but I was only 8 or 9. In '81, I was more aware and it made me sick. Crazy that the Magic Johnson "jumping Center game" in '80, is only the 3rd most hurtful loss of that era.
And 82 lakers series. Game 6. Came all the way back and could never quite get the lead.

I am a lifetime Pacers fan so there are many...Tayshaun's block on Reggie tore my heart out
Once they have that golden shining moment and it comes to them in a dream or whatever and they understand that, that's when this team and this franchise will go to another level from where it was when I was here.

Yep. That or G4 against GS in 2015 as far as the Cavs go.
Overall its most definitely 2007 National Championship against Florida... that was just depressing on so many levels.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.
NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

Its been a while but probably game 6 of the 1997 or 98 Finals. Elimination vs Portland was pretty hard too, as I thought for sure that Utah would win with MJ retired.

I wouldn't say it's an issue, it's just that a lot of people believe that if you're a fan of a team - that team is your only team.
My friend is the same. He's a Jays fan but is also a Dodgers "fan". I don't like it because it seems that he's only an LAD fan when Toronto isn't winning.
Not sure if it's the same for you but it's just not a common practice for the die-hards.
