Pathetic display by Roger Clemens and Roger Clemens only. If you are blaming this team for coming back from an 8 run deficit and not scoring again, you are crazy.

You're right. Clemens sucked hard tonight. Still, it's a bad loss.

This offense can't score 8 runs every game. The pitching needs to get better.

How come no one realizes he's not the same player he was five years ago, when he was actually worth all the money?

We all realize this. But I don't think it's too much to ask for for him to give us more than 1.2 innings.

Clemens was absolutely awful today, no doubt about it...but I don't think we'll see another one of these from Clemens. I'd expect a handful of solid starts from him after this one...even an all-time great is going to have to make adjustments.

Bingo!

I've been watching baseball a long time... I've never seen a pitching coach visit the mound as much as Guidry has this season. What the heck is going on with the pitching staff??

Yup he did, but the potential inning ending double play ball was scalded. Roger was giving up hits all over the place, he has nobody to blame but himself. He was booed off the mound.

i'm just tired of people getting on him....we knew what we were getting.

As for itsavc3.....you cant just go around releasing people after one bad game.....these salaries are guaranteed this isnt the NFL. I thought you wouldve learned that after your dream offseason thread.
