and only the older guys here will remember this one but Lonnie Shelton was a heck of a supporting player. Tough power forward and a guy who used to make bigger guys than him back down in a fight. He was one of my favorite players.
The Knicks wanted to sign the Human Effacer, Marvin Webster and back then when you signed another teams free agent, the league ruled what was fair compensation. Webster had been a good player and a true center and a nifty shot blocker, hence his nickname - the human eraser. So the league awarded the Sonics, Lonnie Shelton, a first round pick AND 450,000 bucks.
Lonnie Shelton turned out to be twice the player for the Sonics that Marvin Webster was for the Knicks and the Sonics won the finals that year. The league, recognizing they may have over-compensated, returned to the Knicks their draft pick.

Shelton was a good player for NY, he didn't improve when he left, but he did win a title the year he left.

Bill Clinton slept with an intern. A consenting adult and he got impeached and nearly disbarred as a result. Donald Trump went to parties showcasing underaged women brought in as basically prostitutes, and he says it's nothing.
Double standard?

Stupid topic. J.R. and Shump continued to play like trash and Mozgov honed his skill on another team. You sound ridiculous to fans that know the game; lock all of these whiny ex girlfriend topics.
