That would make me cry with joy.
Blazers don't have enough to get it done though

Fixed for you.
Yeah, Davis and Kawhi might look like the 2 best players so far. But like in the past several seasons, Lebron will restore order in the middle season and in the playoffs... He's still the best player on the planet when it matters the most.
I agree, I am also just talking about "Two games into the season".

Pretty much this. Based on what we saw all regular season long last year, it looked like Curry was clearly the best player in the NBA and LeBron was "finally" done still being in the conversation for clear cut, you know he's lurking, best player in the league. Then he puts together an all-time great, one of the 3-5 best ever playoff runs and you're quickly reminded that, until proven otherwise, LeBron is still the best player in the NBA.
So yes, based on two games of the regular season, Kawhi and Davis are the two best players, but LeBron is still alive and young enough to make me hesitate to call anyone but him the best player in the NBA.

My bad, your right... Kawhi and Davis are 1 and 2 early in the season.

Need to pair Anthony Davis with Jrue Holiday.
Not sure how to pull it off though.

Or with Westbrook. Maybe if the Thunder offered Adams, Payne, Oladipo, Sabonis, and a couple of 1st round picks it could be enough to make the Pelicans at least think about it? No? Maybe?
But yeah, we need to see Davis paired with another superstar. We can't see this guy go KG on us and waste away his prime with bad supporting casts. He's too special of a talent for that; especially in the era of superteams. He's a generational talent who, when healthy, has shown flashes of brilliance that only 10-15 other players in the history of the league have shown. But yeah, his issue have been health and the fact that he's been supported by, at best, mediocre supporting casts five seasons into his young career. Luckily there's still enough of his prime left to get him properly paired up with another superstar and see if they can win a ring or two or three together.

There is a certain point guard that used to play for New Orleans, who can opt out after this season and become a free agent
He also has a twin brother that works for State Farm

Mark Cuban saved our ass by signing him. We literally dodged a bullet. I swear Mark Cuban has been a fool the last few years

Swear to God, so help me, I'll burn this forum to the ground...
New York said Mitchell wasn't the guy you trade the sink for, then they traded it for Mikal, lol.

Thank god the Pelicans spent all that money on Solomon Hill!
He's been a real difference maker.
I mean the $3 mill Dante Cunningham might have looked like he contributed more, but don't be fooled.
Solomon is worth it

LAL 89 - UTAH 96
Score doesn't really indicate how close the game was. Lakers had a 4th quarter lead. Utah was damn near untouchable in the 2nd half, my god.
Clarkson and DLo combined to shoot 5-23 but the team hung in there. This was the kind of game the Lakers would've gotten blown out last season. They competed hard tonight. The players are really laying it out there for Luke.

That team has a bright future. Goes to show you how important it is to have a GM and coach on the same page and a coach that empowers his players to play to their strengths. Everyone there looks to be on the same page and it will pay dividends. When there is a vision that is agreed upon With GM and coach it helps so much. Everyone hated Mozgov signing but Luke wants a guy who can set good screens for his young guards, clean up around the rim and defend some and he looks like he could be worth 15 million if he fulfills those roles. They are so young but it reminds me of the Warriors and Blazers where there is just a vision and unity between GM, coach and Talent that allows teams to hit their relative potential prettyquickly. The talent is not going to reach its potential right away is a common vision that should make everything more likely to coalesce.
Jarret Jack: “I brought one of my best suits. But looking down at this jersey, it’s just a sense of pride I don’t think I’ve ever felt as a professional. … Nothing in my closet is better than what I have on now."
