LOL. That is the point that people need to understand.
He is 20 years old on a dumpster fire of a team(in terms of talent on the floor), after an 18 month layoff, and trying a new position.
If he was 23, and going into his third year and was playing this way then I would be really disappointed.
To me, the positives are obvious. He is an electric athlete, with great length and defensive instincts. He is a competitive and coachable kid. He is completely healthy.
Let's focus on the positives and give him some room to feel his way into the league. I see no red flags with him other than the ones that we already knew about, namely his lack of strength and his poor offensive skill. Both of those weaknesses WILL improve over time, and how much they improve will largely determine how good of an overall player he can be.
