Look like a completely different team without these net negative players. It's like they're not being dragged down by their presence on the court and they're allowed to play roles where they're effective.

You have claimed also, Kyle OQuinn and Justin Holliday , net negative players..

The better teams would.

Yeah - the encouraging sign was the ball movement and defensive pressure. The discouraging sign was where the **** was that against the Wizards?

Wizards is our boogie team we can bring Ewing Bernard King Melo together and Otto Porter will still make contested 3s from halfway line

Just think about this, a subpar offensive performance by KP was him shooting 8/15 for 19 points, tagged along with 11 boards. He only shot 1/4 from 3 and his foul troubles took him out of his game early on, but I can't even fathom how he'll be playing as the season progresses.

Good ball movement, good D inside and out. We played like a posse out there today.

TWO QUESTIONS

Couldn't watch the game, but the box score and the game thread clearly showed Melo had a good night.

Did Melo play good D today?

and

Is this team actually better with KOQ & Willy than Noah?

I mean KOQ has actually been pretty good this year and Willy may have been underrated for his defensive potential. Seeing the results it makes me wonder if their combination of O+D is truly superior right now to Noah's net contribution

I've never said that about Holiday. You must have confused me with someone else.

O'Quinn has gotten in much better shape and he's worked hard to eliminate his bone-headed errors. He looks more patient and decisive with what he wants to do out there. That's a credit to him. The fact is, he didn't do sh*t last year and early on, he looked like the same player.

Nothing bad to say about this one, all the role players stepped up. Dwight Howard blows. Glad we don't have to watch him brick 10 free throws a game. Willy fanny flustered him. +11 for Willy 7 pts 8 boards.

Melo had a great game all around, KP shot was a little off and had foul trouble but hit the glass hard for a solid 19 and 11. Funny that's considered an off night now for him. O'Quinn dominated in his minutes and was +12, Rose also +12 and 7 assists, clutch shot and FT at the end, shooting 86% from the line now. Lee was all over the place swarming on D and hitting big shots whenever the Hawks looked like they were going to make a run. Ennings and Holiday had their moments.

Just a great team win.

Which team is not here in lottery simulator anymore tho? http://www.tankathon.com/
Celtics fan.
We also face the Kings twice in the near future. I think it's time Yabu pays back some of that free money he's been given his entire career and bounces Fox for a nice 2 week ankle sprain.

It shows his potential upside - which is, of course, tremendous. Knicks shot terribly from three in the first half, otherwise we would be looking at a blowout.

Different team today.

I must admit, I had this game penciled in as a "L". I'll watch the game when I get home but looking at the box score, it appears everyone played to what we expected of them. However, Hernandez, Quinn, Jennings and Holiday are developing into quality and necessary pieces to this team. I love the fact that that Jennings loves playing in NY, Quinn plays hard despite some occasional bonehead plays, Holiday is poised and gaining more and more confidence each game. If we could play like this each game we would win many more games than what is expected of this group.

A quality effort and a quality win...we need more of this!!

I don't know why Noah didn't play, is he injured if "benched." Hard to believe with his leadership skills and relentless effort that he would be benched tho.

Melo was great on D, and involved in every way. Willy mugged Dwight a few times and he reverted to being a baby.
