Brooks for #5

Post#1 » by ComeAtMeBro » Thu Jun 24, 2010 6:13 pm

Is there any word about this in Houston?

From what I'm hearing, Rockets made this offer. Sacramento rejected it. And now it's something the Rockets are trying to do last-second with GSW, Detroit, or the Clippers. They apparently want Monroe, or Ed Davis.

Any of this talk in Houston?

i believe our GM is targeting Cousins, but i think Kings want Cousins as well
top 5
1. Wall
2. Turner
3. Favors
4. Johnson
5. Cousins

please tell me you were smoking when you wrote this. Rondo, D-Will, Chris Paul, Steve Nash, Derrick Rose disagree with your opinion.

Here is Morey's trade strategy: When in doubt deal with the Kings.

If this did happen with swapping Brooks for a top 5 pick.

I gotta believe we will make a push for Chris Paul.

they wanted johnson all along
nets even try to bluff them making them think they are taking johnson instead of favors

nope brooks averages more points then all of them except rose. but rose plays no d so i take brooks. plus he can shoot 3s. i dont want a pg that cant know down the opens threes on my team

yes, but your point guard is also 19th in assists and 22nd in steals. there is more to being PG that just scoring, otherwise you are a shooting guard. Those other PG's do a lot more for their team than just score.

AB is untouchable barring a trade for Wall or Chris Paul.

If anyone is being dangled, it's a resigned Kyle Lowry, Jefferies, Battier and Andersen.

Rockets first + brooks and Battier to GSW for their first and Ellis. They'll use Landry TE, Battier will probably be bought out.
