Didn't realize we got Mcneil. Always liked him at Marquette.

I know they released Kurz, and Richard, but expected both to be on the SL team. I wonder why not Kurz?

He is playing for the Bobcats though. I just watched him vs the Jazz. Maybe it is a error or maybe he is actually on two summer league teams.

Hard to get excited about a summer league roster with out any new draft picks but I do have two main topics I will focus on:

1.) A reported slimmed down James Johnson. If he is going to be a contributor to the roster this year he needs to dominate.

2.) If we do sign two max contract guys where going to have a hard time filling out the roster. So I am going to be interested to watch guys like Bouldin, Alexander, Richard, Byars, Almond to see if they play well enough to make the back end of the roster.

I'll tell you right now that AJ Ogilvy was projected as a top 10 pick just last year but he had a bad year at Vandy and his stock dropped big time. He would be a good backup big man for us.

Morris Almond can flat out score, but he was never given the opportunity in Utah. He had a few 40+ games in the D-League.

We all know about Derrick Byars and I would like to see him make our team. There's something about a guard wearing that #7 Bulls jersey that makes you like the guy...lol

Add AJ Ogilvy to that list and I'll agree. He is a homeless man's Andrew Bogut

 Alright add Ogilvy too. I just watch him at Vandy a couple times this year (as a UK fan) and I wasn't impressed with him. In his three years he seems to digress instead of improve and his game reminds me exactly of Aaron Gray (shudder) :o . But I will give him this, he plays very hard and has a pretty polished low post game so I would be willing to give him a shot.
