3) Sched contracts (Turkoglu is staying and taking on Afflalo's big deal)

Ohh and were going to watch Dwight Howard on a Superteam in l.A.

what happened to you preaching about patience for a long term vision?

have some faith. Hennigan has proven to be a solid evaluator of talent (given by the strong showings from both Nicholson and KO in summer league). if he's big on Harkless, then i suspect that's because the kid can play.

- this deal is still better than Nets' offer
- Management chose this package for a reason and I'm interested to see how it plays out
- Philly's pieces intrigue me
- I'm happy to get cheap tix for my family

Pushing the button to deal early was going to likely warrant a better deal. The longer this went, the less Orlando could demand."

Gee, where have I heard that before? I think Hennigan tied his own hands by waiting or DeVos would not let him deal Howard until DeVos was convinced Howard wanted to really leave. And if that is the case, DeVos has really screwed his own franchise. It was apparent to many rational people (except some who were in denial on this site) that Howard was NEVER going to play in a Magic uniform again.

The "patience" bit the Magic in the arse! Some of us knew that. Or at least felt that was the case. And it was.

This team will not be horrible, talent wise yes but between Afflalo Nelson and Baby there will be too much pride to be a terrible team, we will be bad but not as bad as the bobcats, and every player will be a professional. I think this is what Hennigan meant by puting together a product that the fans can be proud of.
