OT: 2012-13 Ticket Thread (Buy/Sell)

Postby N8Frog on Mon Nov 12, 2012 5:41 pm

I wish RealGM had a search feature b/c I know there was a ticket thread last year. If this is against site rules, feel free to lock it up. Otherwise forum users can use this thread for buying/selling Bucks tickets.

I'm selling (2) tickets to the Bucks/Knicks game on November 28th. 1st row of Section 411 and Aisle seats. Face value is $33/ticket but obviously willing to sell below that. Email me at: frogsplash@gmail.com if interested and with an offer.

If want, I will send Paypal request and mail tickets upon payment.

Question - I am considering going to my first ever Bucks game this weekend vs. the Hornets (I am a Bulls fan, but have wanted to attend the Milwaukee Bucks game)....Anyways, do the Bucks have a BMO Harris Section like the Bulls have - if so, what is the Bucks section called? If not, I am looking for 2 seats of higher quality. Where would that be in their stadium?

Thanks!

Yeah, what triwl said although I think it's call the ATI Club this year. It's kind of pricey, like $110/ticket and then an additional $35/ticket for the all you can eat/drink part. I've often thought about using my ticket bank money for this, but in the end I take the better seats since you still have to pay for the food/drink part.

I think the other club option is the Frontier Club but I don't think you get food/drinks included. But the tickets are cheaper.

And random item, but did the Bucks ever even announce a promotional schedule this year? I've seen nothing. Kind of interesting as sometimes that draws some fan attendance. Maybe not quite like the Brewers bobbleheads but I'm willing to guess it gets a few more fans, kids interested.

I have two really good tickets for the Hornets game this Saturday that I'm not using. They are in 227 Row B. Looking for $135 for the pair. I'm in Madison, so I would probably have to email them and receive payment through Paypal.

Just looked at the schedule - I doubt they'd do specials on a premiere game like NY, but I'd be interested in the less marquee weeknight games in the future.

Yeah, doubt they do a special for the Knicks game. Maybe $10/upper level seats in the middle to upper rows. For the non-marquee though they've been running some specials for fairly cheap lower level seats via Facebook and what not.

If you really want the NYK, I'd sell my 2 tickets for $30 total (details above).

Actually for 2012 I have the following, just email me if interested...

11/28 NYK - $30
12/7 Bobcats - $25
12/18 Pacers - $25
12/22 Cavs - $30
3/15 - Heat - $315

Looks like the Bucks are offering buy 1 ticket, get 1 free tonight. Part of the Time Warner Wednesday promotion it would appear. Not sure what sections.

Go scalper. Couple years ago I bought two $96 seats for $20 total around tip off time. Those guys get desperate.

What would be the best time and place to get Knicks tickets for Wednesday, Nov. 28th?

My dad's birthday is tomorrow, and I wanted to get him tickets tonight. I'm looking to spend no more than ~ $40-$50 total per ticket (tax and fees included) , so what are my options? He'd probably be cool with me waiting to buy them (somewhat) last minute should better deals arise, but I'm concerned that if I wait too long, seats will get gobbled up by other fans (it is NY, after all).

Anyone with any experience buying tickets to marquee games like this care to weigh in? I've looked around on stubhub, theticketking, seatgeeks, craigslit etc. and haven't really found anything better than section 202 or the like (facing the back of the team's bench on the sideline, but situated below the baseline, if that makes sense) or 212 on the other side of the court. Row Q behind the bench, Row C on the opposite side of the court (facing the home team's bench) for around $100 total ($42 x 2 tickets + $14 in service fees/delivery fees).

Thoughts on better deals?

That or stubhub on the day of the game.

Would love to help the Bucks out and buy tickets from them rather than 3rd parties..but the Bucks prices are way too high when compared to what you can find on stubhub. Even with this black friday/ cyber monday special, the prices still are way too high
Go ahead, make your jokes, Mr. Jokey... Joke-maker. But let me hit you with some knowledge. Quit now. Save yourself the embarrassment of losing with these losers in the playoffs, Herb Kohl.
