I'll add those two later. I know I had Dirk and Wade's numbers but I can't find the file ATM.

Nice, awesome work again Bob!

Kobe somewhat disappointing from what I would have thought. Granted, small sample size but still not very good at all, he's a slightly more efficient/more TO prone Westbrook, which shocks me.

I'll have to update Durant/Westbrook for tonight's game tomorrow.

Kobe's struggled a bit. His best looking one at a glance is against OKC in 2012; 42/5 on 58.2% TS.

It took you a while to come back ahonui.

Yeah Dirk's numbers were pretty crazy from what I remember. Hope he brings it tomorrow.

Did you compile the numbers yourself from basketball-reference?

If you have it or can be bothered i'd really be interested in seeing someone like Duncan or Shaq's stats in these situations.

Basically LeBron is the best in elimination games. Faces the best defense and still has the best stats.

I think you should put the average D rating of defense faced rather than relative to league average. Playing a 103 D rating defense that is -3 is harder than playing a 105 D rating -5 defense.

Would team Drtg for the series have any merit in this discussion?

I don't think so. Looking at the average opponents DRTG represents the defensive quality of the opponent (based on a full RS sample size). Opponent DRTG for the series represents how the player's team is performing offensively in the series, which means to some degree it's going to be dependent on teammate performance in rather small sample of at most 7 games. The only way it would make sense to look at that is if we came up with some average performance level for the teammates in all non-elimination games in the series, compared that to the average performance in the elimination games, did the same with the player in question and then observed the shift in opponent DRTG between elimination/non-elimination games. That should be indicative of how a shift in the player's performance (or lack of it) helped his team perform better or worse against the opponent, relative to the rest of the series. Seems like overkill IMO
