I'm not a fan of complaining about calls, but there was a lot of swallowed whistles tonight. I Like the Splash Brothers but this Warriors team is being helped by the refs... I'm not saying that the Mavs could have won, but most of these bad calls turned into Warrior 3's.
The Warriors players can Climb in Mavs players like Bogut did and the Mavs player called for travel... There was a lot of no-calls and moving screens in Warriors favor... and they got a lot of friendly calls.

The GS Warriors are the NBA's golden baby. The refs are going to let them get away with a lot more. It's not like they aren't good enough anyhow, but clearly seems to be their the team who gets favored in most matchups by refs.

I'm not sure if you are new to basketball or not... but Bogut fouled him AFTER he committed the travel. That means the foul was irrelevant.

How could you even complain about that?

Cuban is also known for his crying... and quite frankly it gets tiring having to listen to him whinge all the time. Maybe he can throw another chair in the Warriors away rooms and create another hole in the wall next to Dirks.

That was not a travel he put the ball in the floor first... Even the great warriors commentators said that it was not a travel...
That Green foul no-call was totally ridiculous. The Mavs would have tied the game if CV had got and hit his FTs.
The ridiculous moving screens by Bogut, Green and Varejao are ridiculous...

If your players complain with the refs about the no foul.... Curry & Thompson will score some 3's in transition

Warriors get HUGE benefits from refs.

It's infuriating. They're already one of the best regular season teams of all time, they really don't need the referee's help.

I kind of like Mark Cuban, he is very entertaining on the show Shark Tank, but I am blown away if he actually thought Dallas would win this game no matter what the calls were.

Doesn't change the fact that the Warriors are infinitely better than the other 29 teams this season.

Regardless of how bad they are, they should be given a level playing field when it comes to officiating.

As a life long Dubs fan, all I can say is "I'm loving it". I saw my team get nailed by the refs for over a decade. Now I set back and never complain about a call and im loving it.

The moving screen thing is ridiculous. The rest of it I can live with.

That rule is poorly enforced all around the NBA. The Warriors just use more screening action than anybody else, so it stands out more when they play.

Wouldn't be surprised if the NBA puts out a hit for Cuban, it being the Warriors and all, tbh.

Oh, there's zero question the refs handed this game to GS. They were well aware of how embarrassing it would have been for the NBA Golden Boys to lose their first game at home to a Dirk/Parsons/Williams-less Mavs team. Without the refs help, it's a coin toss who won this game...would have been a fun finish.

I actually was astonishingly frustrated with the refereeing in the Minnesota versus Golden State game. A large portion of the blame goes to the bench, but there were a collection of abhorrently bad calls by the referees.

Kings vs Lakers, nothing new

I really like the Warrios, amazing team and so much fun to watch.

but I'm a bit baffled that Warriors fans dont see the clear ref bias here ? I mean, try to put yourself into the shoes of a neutral fan: what the Warriors do, is shooting the league leading amount of jumpers with the league leading average distance on their shots. yet, they are league average in FTAs. something is odd here.

but thats not even the worst part: the Warriors are a prime example of an aggressive team on defense (small, pestering), yet they rarely get called for fouls.

------

this game from yesterday was a prime example why every neutral fan complains about the reffing in Warriors games. the Mavs had no business winning this game on paper, but they were hot that day. with fair refs, the Mavs would've won this one. however, the NBA trys to push for new highs/records to make the league exciting again, thus the refs swallow their whistle here and there and all of a sudden the Warriors win a close game.

I mean, lets be honest for a minute: without the obvious no-calls/wrong calls, the Mavs would've won. and there is a pretty long track record of teams sharing the same faith in clutch time (Cavs, Heat, etc.).

Ummmm....your "facts" here are not facts.

The Warriors are, in fact, 20th overall in free throws attempted per game (at a league-leading pace), and 24th overall in free throws attempted per field goal attempt. I'm not sure how 24th out of 30 can be interpreted as average.

So, no...recency/recall bias aside, the Warriors are quite clearly not drawing a disproportionate number of whistles from the refs. There may be legitimate reasons to criticize the way the team is refereed, but let's stick to claims that are actually true, ok?

The Mavs had poor rotations all night.

Blame Iso Barea. I watched the game.
