•Tweener?
•Lacks size at his natural position
•Needs to add strength, slight frame
•Lacks defensive fundamentals

As you can tell, he would be my pick this year. Yes, even at 9.

Teague > Derozan and Evans IMO

I would actually be ok taking him at 9. I expect him to be picked in the top 12 eventually anyways. After Griffin and Harden, he probably has the best chance of being a 20ppg guy. He's unreal off the dribble and penetrating and is an excellent shooter

Had a terrible end to his season, so that should affect his stock somewhat... I wouldn't want him at 9, but if he decides to stay in, he could be a nice pick-up for some team (maybe even us) in the mid-late teens. Wouldn't be surprised if he goes back to Wake.

Once the workouts and combines take place this guy will just shoot right back up the charts. He was lottery bound until he stunk up the joint in the first round of the tourney, but if you look at his body of work through the NCAA season he's one of the best in this draft and a huge sleeper at this point.

I liike the fact that he's a scorer and that he can create for himself. Also, it would be nice to have SG that can backup Jose.

However, if he's short for a SG and can't defend, how could we pair him up with Jose? We would have significant deficiencies on the defensive end.

If not Derozen, i would take Teague over Clark and Budinger because he has potential to be very great and if the help of Jose, he can play either play the 1 or the 2.

This would be a horrible pick for the the raptors even if we buy an extra pick

we dont need another pg who cant play D. he is the worst defensive pg in the draft.

We need a SG and this guy isnt a SG - he doesn't have the Strength or height to play SG

you are pretty much getting Quincy Douby

i would be pissed if TO drafts him

6'2" SG will never be very great.

So I assume you haven't really followed him much. The kid can play D. His freshmen year he was actually quite good. This year he was the focal point of that Wake up-tempo offense and didn't really focus his attention on the defensive end.

Worst defensive point guard in the draft? You gotta be joking.

That's going to be key in how good he can be. It's either he develops the mindset to be a scorer AND playmaker or he'll always be considered a tweener and never make it off the bench. But he has the skill, he can make some passes that leave you in awe, he just needs to do more of that while ensuring he's not racking up turnovers in the process.

Not a huge fan of him, but Wake Forest plays the up-tempo game fairly well from what I watched and since we’re playing the same system as well, Teague would provide the scoring we desperately need as he already knows the system inside out…

Teague can be an Ellis type.

Heck even if he's Aaron Brooks I'd probably take that at 9. I heart Aaron Brooks.

I think I'd prefer him at PG than SG if we drafted him.

I like Teague a lot would be a great offensive punch of the bench much like lou williams, but he has to tighten up his guard skills cus i don't see him being successful as a 6'2 SG this guy or T-will with that second pick and im good. Im shocked how fast his stock dropped after the tournament tho, from like top ten to a 15-20 projected pick at 20 this guys an absolute steal.

too small but I like his game at the college level. He needs to put on at least 10lbs of muscle if his game is getting to the basket. Not sure he is a solid pick at 9 but I like him if we buy a pick

Jeff Teague anyone once upon a time he use to be a top ten pick and people called him the next coming of CP3. Now he is a mid to late teens pick nobody really remembers. Are we looking at a sleeper here?

...people really called him the next coming of CP3? I'd love to read that.
