Does anyone know the reason for it? I mean if it's not used in any of the other rounds, why use it in the NBA Finals?

I personally don't like it...

I don't think the 2-3-2 format hurts home teams. Almost no one ever wins those three home games in a row. Even at home its just so difficult to win 3...
