Billy is a pretty good coach, he probably knows a lot more about basketball than we do all together, so he can make all those decisions and still be a very good coach. Remember he won 2 consecutive NCAA championships.

Yeah I'm sick of watching him do nothing and talk out his .... in post game pressers. Just get him out of here.

What kind of value do you think he has?

I mentioned this in another post but I saw a trade suggestion in a random article (I think it was Bleacher Report). PW plus Jevon Carter for John Collins. I'm not sure if Utah would do that, but the idea is that Utah takes Pat because he's younger.

Also, you mentioned Jordan Hawkins the other day. It got me to look up his shooting percentages both in the NBA and College. Not good.

I don't think he has a great value, but I think there are teams that could be interested in him for the following reasons:

1.) Believe the Bulls are a dumpster fire, and see him as a reclamation project that they can do a better job of developing.
2.) Like him as a 3D 5th option.

I have no confidence that Pat will figure it out in Chicago and be significantly better than he is now. He's just so underwhelming and that has nothing to do with him being a former 4th overall pick. My issues with him are:

1.) He has shown almost no growth during the span of his entire career and is in the midst of his worst season.
2.) Does not seem to have any drive or competitiveness.
3.) Is not a lob, shotblocking, or rebounding threat which I think is important to have in the front-court.
4.) Too often has no impact on the game. If Giddey is struggling to score, he'll still get rebounds and assists. If Pat struggles to scorer, you might not get anything out of him besides slightly above average defense.

I'm personally okay trading him for a young PF who has less potential than him, but will consistently give you production. Guys like: Naz Reid, PJ Washington, Grant Williams (prior to the injury), Obi Toppin, etc. I think that's his realistic trade value and I'm ok with that type of return because I desperately want a PF who isn't a zombie on the court.

If we could get Collins for him, I'd be all over that.
