Hasn't seemed like a consummate pro the last few weeks. And no the Bulls won't get a better deal this summer.

Would have traded him to the pistons for Stewart and a filler as I think he would be nice off the bench for them behind Duren.

I'm still holding out hope that Billy moves to start Smith (who has been clearly outplaying Vuc of late) post ASG.

Good for us who have to watch the team, but I don't want to pick up a random W when Smith gets on his hot streak from 3. 62% from 3 in Feb. FebruJalen.

He really could have been an amazing PF for us in another timeline. You don't get that 4th ballhandler, but Pat's a disaster when he starts dribbling and thinking about what to do anyway.

Definitely a tradeoff for W's, but I'd like to see how Smith fares as a starting C before the offseason.

We will need to attach a draft pick just to trade Vooch in offseason,as his worth will continue to decline.. lol

He is completely checked out. He has no desire to still be here. We dumped the good player that surprisingly still wanted to be here for peanuts.

We won't need to if we accept his only real value is as a expiring salary and use to its maximum value. That will mean eating some bad salary/ies in return.

I was very upset we didnt move Vooch. I have been screaming this weeks ago.

Vooch has had a very good season. Allstar worthy especially early in the season. But he needed to go. Now the frustrations are clearly showing every game that passes.

He certainly is checked out now. He is just going thru the motions.

My thing is cool, then just cut his minutes down to 25 max. Or flat out sit him.

We need to force Billy Donovan to use Smith in a bigger capacity. Why wait till next season to figure that out. If we are really evaluating, then that should be an easy one.

There's no way the Pistons would have done that.

He's expiring next year, you can just buy him out in that case, as it generally wouldn't save you money to trade him, but otherwise, I agree, likely not worth anything this off season.

He was playing his best game as a Bull and one of the best of his carrer until Zach being trade. He is very emotional, so I think thats a good chance he already consider himself out of the team. Just 3 games since that trade, and If LAL would imagine what happened in the Knetch trade, maybe Vuc will be a Laker right now with some return.

I just hope he regain his form from the season with Zach on the team for have some value in the offseason, since he will be an expiring.

Like you said in other post, AK took 50 games to battle for a better odd in the draft, so Vucevic palying bad hurt us more than help us. Himself alone will not win games, even in his best form.

I think the way to think about Vuc's value going forward (along with Huerter, Carter and Collins) is that they will all be expiring contracts who can be used to make the $ work on trades where we take on either S&T's or worse contract guys who come along with picks. They are all useful in this capacity as they are all fully viable bench rotation guys. I fully expect AK to make at least 1 such trade in the offseason.

I would assume nobody really wants Vuc other than maybe for similarly bad expiring deals. No big deal, as he helps the tank anyway. Would be nice to move him in the summer for less sour expirings, but that might help oir record next year which we don't want.

Stewart has been better than Vuc, why would they trade a long term player for a short term player and downgrade in the process?
