Giddey is one of four players in the NBA that flirts with a triple double every night. The other 3 are superstars. He is playing like a high level all-star and anyone that won’t accept that is in denial.

I was one of the few realistic posters here that wasn't complaining about that trade, because we didn't get any 2nd rounders thrown in...

We get a 21 year old guy with star potential that had 11 career Triple doubles, for a 30 year old journeyman defensive specialist that's really only useful on a contender with stars already in place ......... But AKME got fleeced because they couldn't squeeze any picks out of presti in that already great trade

Theyve done alot of dumb things, but that trade was a rare home run the moment it happened.

For info on a forum that actually talks Fantasy sports and not spammed with soliciting leagues, PM me. The more the merrier !

Over Terry and Phillips?? Haha come on dude.. yes, they should play over thise two. They didnt deserve more at this stage.

Again that’s the point I’m making. Billy is playing lineups like he is hell bent on winning and making the playoffs so there is clearly zero ‘tanking’ going on within the franchise.

We are not prioritising the development of younger inferior players over older and mature vets. When we traded Zach, we all thought that signified a short term directional change but all it did was give Billy some solid players to utilise at a higher rate to continue pushing for the playoffs.

Donovan is starting the second string, Collins, Buzelis, Giddey, Jones and White, and is bringing the 3rd team off the bench. How the heck is he playing lineups like he is hell bent on winning?

What are you talking about, 2nd string?? Thats the best we have at the moment lol.. it is what it is.

I think the truth is that BD is focusing on trying to figure out what we have with the new/young guys and not so much about winning or tanking. The sad commentary on BD with this experience has been that guys who are new to our system are playing better together in it than those who had a ton of experience with it.
