Why would we do that when Coby just outplayed every player on the Magic?

Because it was 1 game.

Because it was 1 game.

One game that was better than any game any Bulls player has had all season.

But yeah, let's trade our best player to a team that has nothing but bad contracts and mid-draft picks!

If Matas pans into a Franz (I could see the potential), we’d be throwing a parade.

Matas was the 11th pick in what was supposedly the weakest draft in years. Franz is a career 32% three point shooter who is shooting 30% this year. He shoots contested two's, the worst shot in basketball, and makes them at a 46% clip. Matas as a rookie is shooting 33.5% from three and a (miserable) 43.5 % from the floor. Given the minutes and 3 years of development, it is totally reasonable to believe that Matas will be the better player due to his 3 point stroke.

Sco, I disagree that the Magic could get a top 10 pick for Franz. If they could, given their record and that Banchero is basically the same player but better, they would have moved him. They can't pay Suggs, Anthony, Banchero, and Franz, nor should they because they are not winning.

The Bulls could very well make the play-in with less than 30 wins, that's just not right.

The sad thing is that the front office might look at getting to the play-in as some level of success.

Oh absolutely they will.

"Our young guys are the ones that got us there"

Despite the fact that whilst they have actually sucked badly, it's just that other teams have sucked even more than the Bulls somehow.
Here to argue about nonsensical things and suck away your joy. :kissmybutt:

We already traded our best player for next to nothing. Coby isn't the best player remaining. But other than that...sure.

Coby is our best remaining player. If you can't see that go get your eyes checked!

Hey. Thanks for your advice; and for telling me you don't understand the difference between facts and opinions.

If anyone doesn't understand the difference between facts and opinions, it's you!

Coby White is the leading scorer on the team, which isn't my opinion, it is a fact.

If you believe that players who score less are somehow better than him, that’s your opinion!

Coby's usage is about to surpass his career high. There is a difference between quantity and quality. Josh Giddey has been a better player.

Thank you for admitting you're just a biased Josh Giddey fan!

So... I think Giddey is a better, more valuable player than Coby White... and that means I am just a biased Josh Giddey fan. Lol. Whatever buddy.

Let me ask you. If you were a GM and Giddey and White were traded 1 for 1, which player would you want to be getting?

On a trade it would come down to their relative performance vs. pay. If that was even, I'd say Giddey.

That said, I feel both guys are looking better with higher utilization post-Zach, and will look even better post-Vuc (which can't come soon enough). I'm still looking for trends going into the end of the season, as team adjust defensively to them as primary scorers and defensive liabilities.

I would want the player who was named NBA Player of the Week.
