Also, 27/7/4, 46% seems like pretty poor stats for a "player of the week", right? Like, guys are averaging better numbers than that over the course of a season. Something tells me LeBron put up larger stats than that in the past week. different conference, I guess. maybe it's a slow week.

Coby has definitely been up and down. But, not that they are dispositive in terms of whether he'll keep it up, but two new factors come to mind re: his recent play. First, he's the clear #1 option and drawing more defensive attention than ever, yet still doing what he's doing. Second, he's really becoming more effective at getting to the rim, finishing, and drawing fouls, which seems like a more sustainable source of consistent offense than his streaky 3-point shooting.

So Coby can get only 40% raise on his current 12.8M deal, thats 17.9M per season, as RFA, right? That would be very solid deal.. but he probably get some nice offer sheet from some other team and if contract is 25M and over, Bulls shouldnt do it..

They can offer him qualifying offer with that amount 17.9M for 1 yr, then he becomes UFA,right?
