Re: Chicago Sky/WNBA 2025 season thread
Angel Reese was outright good for the Sky yesterday, recording an 11/13/11 triple double. OK her finishing remains a problem but for the first time the Sky's plan to play her at point forward looked sensible. She played a very aware game, with kick-out passes, pocket passes, and hitting cutters. I was impressed ... and I'm no Angel Reese fan, as a general rule. But credit is due.

Re: Chicago Sky/WNBA 2025 season thread
yeah after that rough start she's been really really good. shame about...the rest of the team
also man that atkins trade took even less time than i thought to look god-awful. is it good to trade a rookie who makes the all-star game and a pick swap for a veteran on an expiring contract when you're a bottom-two team in the league?

I don’t know how often it happens every game, but I see Angel Reese meme clips in my Twitter feed very frequently. She’s quite funny.

While many may disagree, I believe that Reese is the most polarizing player in the WNBA. Obviously, many would say that’s Clark. But I consider Clark to be more popular in general than the most polarizing. Therefore, anything with Reese content is going to draw clicks and many of the people that post that content have even admitted as much. So, they put together these montages of her worst career moments and push it as if that’s Reese in a nutshell.
While her game isn’t aesthetically pleasing at all, she’s far more skilled than she’s given credit for. This season has been especially intense from a criticism standpoint because she got off to that slow start and the team as a whole is so bad. But since that triple double game last month, Reese has quietly been playing at an all-wnba level.
