Injury report: Kirk Hinrich skipped Monday's practice with back spasms, while Luol Deng rested his sore left Achilles' tendon. Both are expected to play tonight against Orlando.

Back spasms, looks like the extra weight he gained in the off-season hasn't helped.

The more rest for Lu the better, if we want to be competitive tonight Lu will have to be a factor. I think he played more than the bulls wanted him to against Atlanta. I'd expect to see him come of the bench again tonight although he will probably play big minutes.

I call misleading thread title!!

I thought Bulls-Gate was continuing and Lu and Kirk actually 'skipped' practice on purpose. Now that woulda been some actual scandal.

Dude, Kirk's wife is probably pregnant. He's gaining his "sympathy" weight.

Deng needs to rest though, that Achilles tendinitis has to be watched carefully. One bad move (i.e. lack of stretching or awkward sprint and if it tears, he's out a good 6-8 months). he stays healthy all season injury free.

Kirk might find and hit his shots tonight, by skipping yesterday's practice.

Now if only we can get Kirk to start skipping games...
