I'm back again..scimming through articles..I really cant believe how bad our team has been this season.Was it the trade rumors?The no-extension for Deng and Gordon?

In my book....first mistake was letting Boylan coach.Now the players are running this club slacking and knowing nobody will be held accountable.

The players voted for an extra game suspension of a rookie?When has that ever happened anywhere ???


In my book Paxson has to keep Nocioni,Smith,Noah,Gray,Sefolosha and Gray with Duhon.

Deng
Wallace
Hinrich

should all go in two deals.They will never play again for the Bulls.It seems they just dont care anymore.

What a ripoff for the ticket holders...total ripoff.

Does Paxson have the balls to change this team drastically?

There will be a crossroad soon.Are we going for a top pick by playing the less experienced players by trading the 4 misfits or do we get back good value that the team even with the newest additions makes the playoffs?

I wonder what Paxson is thinking.Does he have a **** alternative plan?Nobody could've predicted this mess.

i am just besides myself at this point with this team. I have always been a diehard Bulls fan through thick and thin, but honestly i am to the point where i just dont care anymore about this team. In my opinion i 100% put all the blame on Paxson who i really thought was the best GM in Chicago! His unwillingness and the way he over values his players makes me sick. Instead of this team becoming a up and coming team, we now have fell back down to where we were after Jordan left. I dont know if i have the patience to sit and watch 2-3 more years of reallllly bad rebuilding basketball, they are not worth me coming to work pi

I kinda agree with bulls6. Although in my estimation, getting rid of Wallace is a good start. Still plenty to be fixed on this team.

Unfortunately, all this change is going to take time. I just don't see Paxson making trades just to make trades. I wouldn't be surprised if we just stayed pat til the offseason. I hope I'm completely wrong.

couldnt we just tell our small 4 to stay at the gym, then develop what we have.

at worst, 2 guys will step up. then we can integrate them with the fully rested kirk/gordon/deng/draft pick

Getting rid of Wallace would be a good start, but it wouldn't solve 90% of the teams problems. This teams problems are much bigger than Wallace right now, even though he contributes to the fire as well.

And I don't get what youre talking about John. Why would Paxson trade Gordon/Deng/Hinrich/Wallace but keep Nocioni/Tyrus/Noah/Gray/Sefolosha. Makes no sense. Trade your good players and keep the bad ones?

If anything Gordon, Deng, Smith, Nocioni and Noah (gasp) should be here. Everyone else can kick rocks.

I understand that you all want Wallace gone but lets look at the mental side of the matter.

Fours years on this team and neither Gordon or Deng let alone Hinrich have attempted to take a leadership role.

We clearly lack a leader..somebody that hates to lose.Ben Wallace cannot be that player since it is apparent he has mailed it in the moment he signed that 60 million dollar contract;oh and he cant score a basket to save his life.

Do you honestly believe Gordon and Deng are worth more than those offers they got from Paxson?

The Bulls will lose one of these guys and pay the other above real value.

Sure I'd like us to make two trades and get us over here TMac and Jermaine Oneal.At least these guys will be fun to watch.

By the way wouldn't things be better with a more respectable coach?Jeff Van Gundy perhaps?

I'm glad i haven't witnessed this whole mess from the beginning but it has to end.

A few months ago fans wouldn't trade Gordon&Deng for Kobe Bryant.

I'm not saying Paxson will trade them...but I would be gauging interest in these guys.

To tell you the truth they dont strike me as players that you can rely on when the going gets tough.I'm afraid last years Miami series blindsided us fans and Paxson

Wallace is such a chump. No Offense, No Defense..he makes the team look bad do to zero defensive rotations. Wallace being anywhere but on the court for the Bulls would definetly be helpful to the Bulls. But they have so many other issues. The offense they've been running is garbage, Gordons standing in a corner 50 percent of the time, Hinrichs job is to use the pick at the top of the key and give it to the Big for a jumpshot, no cuts no penetration, no taking advantave of the guys we have on this team. Personally i wouldn't give up on these players with the exception of Wallace. I really believe given a coach with teh skill of running an offense to the players strenghts this team could be back on track.

Deng, Gordon and Hinrich all care far more than Ben Wallace. I haven't seen any of those guys laughing on the bench when they are getting blown out.

I wish the Bulls had the guts to send Ben Wallace home for the rest of the season. Because it's clear he doesn't care about anything other than getting his $$$. I know they won't do that, and they won't buy him out (another option I'd be in favor of, despite the huge cap hit). And because of his salary and bad attitude, I sincerely doubt any other team is stupid enough to trade for him right now. I could see moving him at NEXT year's trade deadline, because his contract expires after the 2008-09 season. Until then, unless they find the guts to at least bench him, this team is just going to continue to slide down into the gutter.

I saw that too..... biggest difference though is Hinrich was shown while the team was down single digits in the first half, looked like someone told him a joke. Wallace was giggling with the Bulls down 20 plus looking like a complete joke.

I know this sounds crazy... but I think this is the first step in Noah becoming the team's leader. The locker room will be divided and I would want to be on the side of the guy that hates losing and actually produces when he is out there.

It's funny that people rail on Wallace for not being a vocal leader, when I swear I remember him saying when he came here that he's not a vocal leader and that he wasn't looking to fill that role. I kinda remember Pax saying the same thing.

Don't get me wrong, Wallace has been a total bum this season (I even think he was a bum last season too, but I digress), but let's not pretend that everyone thought Wallace was going to come in and be a Jordan and push the team over the top. He was really brought in to be an enforcer who would hopefully push the rest of the team to be tougher and play harder - but that backfired.

I think if Wallace will be traded to a Contender he would contribute with more passion again, but not on this team somehow!
