it only recently occurred to me that my signature in particular is ridiculously outdated and needs to be changed.

Oh, I don't know. With Li'l Ben's recent refusal to sign a contract and Big Ben's recent habit of just showing up long enough to pick up his check I'd argue it's more relevant than ever. :D

I've had the same avatar for a couple of weeks now so I was tired of it and appreciate the opportunity to put up a new one.

I don't really bring anything important to the party, as others here can speak much more eloquently, so I guess I appreciate that you guys put up with me.

I also appreciate moonlit strolls on the beach, picnics on sunny days, the smile that you cannot contain when you finally see a long lost friend, clothing stores that carry a "tall" section, pedicures, and well stocked bars.

I do not appreciate 9/11 bumper stickers on cars, people who don't read signs that give clear directions, mushrooms, that gross little white protein thing that is attached to the yolk of a raw egg, and Ben Wallace.

I appreciate this entire operation, even when it distracts me from work. A bunch of Bulls fans discussing everything Bulls? I mean, what's there not to love? So in the words of Lou Grant in the Mary Tyler Moore series finale. "I cherish you people." You have no idea what a rush it is to log on here and see a new thread about JamesOn Curry's public urination arrest. Again, I cherish you people.

I super-appreciate anyone who can quote from any episode of the Mary Tyler Moore show, let alone the finale.

For Ben Wallace:
"A little song, a little dance, a little seltzer down your pants."

I'm glad to be here on the Bulls board, it helps the common fan get through the thick and thin.

All the teams are on the verge or are arguably very close to being contenders.

*The Cubs are contenders in the National League Central, and possible World Series candidates.
*The Blackhawks have hit a rough losing streak recently, knocking themselves out of playoff contention for the time being. But with young stars in Kane and Toews, and with Havlat and Sharp, they are destined for success. Detroit Sucks!
*The NFL has shown that any team can go from abd to good any year. The Bears still have a lot of talent on their roster, and need some offensive line help and some help in the secondary. Then they will be better.
*The White Sox were a disappointment last year. They still have a great underachieving lineup imo, and a decent 5.

I appreciate my new bulls home, my last Bulls home lost it's best posters to this forum. Maybe they left because of me but I followed them anyway. The thing I appreciate most is the lack of posters that have an agenda and just keep hammering away at it, regardless if applies to the current thread.

I appreciate the way JackFinn edits and re-edits every one of his posts until eventually he is just replacing words with random other words in a way that can only be described as "mad-libian"--as in mad libs not as in Khadafi . . . oh forget it.

I appreciate Cliff Levingston's beef.

I appreciate the way you welcome newcomers without cruel hazing rituals.

For some reason I'm thinking it was Main Event. But I really can't remember.

Yes it was Main Event.
