I'm glad your mom's cancer is very treatable and was caught early.
I have far too much experience with nasty cancers.
My maternal grandfather died of lung cancer (attributed to smoking).
My maternal grandmother had bladder cancer (believe it or not attributed to smoking) and eventually died of complications therefrom.
They had 5 children, including my mom.
My mom's oldest sister died of the same bladder cancer (attributed to smoking).
My mom is a breast cancer survivor (not attributed to smoking). Double mastectomy.
Her next youngest brother died of a recurrence of cancer after surviving treatment for lung cancer (attributed to smoking).
Her next youngest brother has various cancers, including bone cancer (probably related to smoking).
The next and last sister so far is cancer free.
My dad's only brother is a stomach cancer survivor.
My dad is currently terminal with pancreatic cancer. He may have a year left.
Yeah, cancer sucks. And I despise tobacco.

Have you looked into the Hoxsey treatment centers?
I haven't. My sister is an oncology nurse. Since you posted, I've looked it up and I'm sending a couple of links to her for her input regarding my dad. Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest to beat.
Thanks for thinking of me and thanks for the heads up.
