LA daily news regurgitates Sam Smith's Wallace deal

What grills me is how Wallace if traded to LAL would return to form and play really well because Kobe would demand it. Because we have no leader here and the only person with enough balls to confront him is Noah, Wallace coasts and doesn't care.

Wallace is cancer when he wants to be.

I edited your title as your original title made it sound like the LA Daily news was saying a deal would be done. All the LA Daily news did was take Sam Smith's trade and say "that makes some sense". They had no source and even admitted that Sam Smith said he had no source.

Wouldn't grill me at all. Wallace sucks for us and there's no end to that situation in sight. That's all that matters. We have to get rid of him to free up PT for Noah, TT, Gray, etc-- anyone not named Ben Wallace.

The deal makes a lot of sense for LAL & it is the only legit trade that I can think of for Wallace. Otherwise we take on too much bad salary

While Vlad's deal sucks, it opens the door to a Nocioni trade since we'll have an overpaid bench 3/4 who only shoots 3 pointers. :)

I mean it's as simple as that bolded part. Wallace isn't going to be great here it doesn't appear, and he's a big negative.

I'm sure we will get some threads every 15 rebound game, but then again, I would look forward to Wallace threads if he's playing for another team. :)

agreed..i could care less how good he is somewhere else..he sucks here and that's all that matters. Plus logically, say he was in a system good for him..I still question how good he could be. His last season in detroit weren't particularly breathtaking, and it's been 2 long awful years since then...assuming that at best he'd get numbers slightly worse than those of his last detroit season, i doubt anybody would be mad to lose that.
