Myself and Ron Adams agree with you. I can see the entire coaching staff face palm after that pick. And you are right, you are no draft expert, I am no draft expert, and we saw this coming. Makes me wonder what was going on during this draft.

Well the Bulls were looking for raw talent and just someone they could mold instead of the safe pick that everyone here complained about. IIRC they worked out Dieng, Plumlee, Snell, Tony Mitchell, THJ, and a couple of other people. When I saw that I knew they weren't picking a big because it was a report they went to like 10-15 Lobos games and about 7 games to see Tony Mitchell at Texas. Basically I think they don't care about how the other guys turned out because they knew what they were skipping out on and took a chance on a guy they thought could be molded into the player they wanted.

I am sure that is true, but doesn't mean it was the right pick and it is showing right now. No matter what their intentions were it is not working out.

Imagine what a package of Plumlee and salary fillers can get you. Imagine what a package of Snell and fillers get you.

In addition to Plumlee and Dieng, Rudy Gobert is now looking like a complete stud. That guy could easily end up being a great Noah replacement, which is something we may need if his knees continue to be a problem.

I wonder if the problem is Gar's connection to New Mexico. We now have two worthless guys from there.

Nice game tonight, showing some signs of life...though, the bar has been set so low.

He's a confidence player w/o any until lately. Id love to see Thibs build him up right now and start him. Perfect timing w/Mike out and McDougie still recovering. But no. He'll keep running out Kirk for too long.

Snell is starting to look like an NBA player now. I never thought he was hopeless though.

Snell looked like he knew what he was doing on both ends of the court against the Wiz. He used his length defensively to get some steals too.

I think Snell's biggest problem is his jumper. From my POV he doesn't look at the basket to get any "aim" on his shots. Most bad jump shooters have the opposite problem (like Rose), they over-aim. Bulls need a shot doctor for Snell, Rose and Doug.

It's ridiculous to think about because back up center was a huge need AND just so happened to be BPA. I thought it was Plumlee for sure at the time because it made too much sense (plus their love of Duke players). Gar must have been smoking that dope if he thought Nazr was going to get minutes in Thibs rotation. Surprise surprise, Noah played a ton of minutes and now is breaking down. Doug Thonus may be right about Matt Lloyd, he's about a season or two away from becoming a GM somewhere, sucks that he couldn't take Gar's job.

I'm sorry but you have to be a moron to be calling for Gar's job.

If Snell can string together more games like last night, he would be very useful. Stay active and aggressive defensively and convert on catch-and-shoot opportunities. I remain in the belief that it's a confidence thing with him.

Really hope he starts tonight, if he continues playing like this you can package him in a trade.

Jimmy has been great in SG position. Rather, I want Snell to back up MDJ and Butler. Kirk and chime in too. I am starting to think that Snell is the key for Bulls success in a long term. It's sad but we really don't have other options. Niko at 3 isn't looking good.
