I would just go with Brooks. Dude has no fear. Then maybe Dunleavy. Then Pau. I guess Jimmy too.

We've always been shaky in that dept. for some reason.

Thats my exact order. Brooks is fearless.

yeah but he did miss a few free throws in high school the year before as well.

What are you talking about they won the state championship in blowout fashion. And I'll bever understand how the story has become Derrick missed two free throws at the national championship. If I didn't know better I'd believe it really happened and he wasn't 3-4 from the line.

wow- I didn't realize I needed green font for that. check your sarcasm detector.
Honesty is my only excuse.

That guy HAS been on the line in the playoffs and made those type of buckets.

Rose will always have the memory of bricking 2 FT's tha would have iced the NCAA title.
Instead Chalmers stepped up there and stole it for KU. This still haunts him at the FT stripe it bet. How could it not.

I'd also go with Dunlevy over Butler and Rose.

I don't know where this myth came from. He only missed one FT in that game.

Rose has had his struggles at the end of the game at the foul line. Even in his prime.

Pau and Brooks are the only ones I'd be confident with.

Butler, Gasol, Brooks, MDJ in that order. Gasol because of his experience in big games and situations. Brooks 3rd because of his lack of experience in the same.

I really don't understand how nobody has said Noah besides me. 9 out of 10 times when he is at the line at the end of the game he makes them.

Last person I would want is Kirk. He is automatically going to miss one in a big moment.

I don't know if this is the nostalgia speaking, but for the past two years I would have maaaybe said Jo too. Don't know why.

I remember game 6 vs BKN at home and we were down three, and Jo had a look for a corner three and he was preparing to take a shot to tie, but he was out of bounds

He would have made that shot I bet.

I'm not suggesting that means anything at all, I think the missed FT legend is bunk too...I just felt like bringing that up because when I read this my mind goes into 'confirmation bias' mode and I felt like sharing. There are 2 games I can recall where the outcome largely decided on Rose FTs and he failed.

-That game against the Clippers a few years ago when the Bulls were down 2 and Rose was fouled shooting at the buzzer. He made the first and then missed the second to lose the game.

-There was a game against Miami the year after the ECF run where the Bulls were down 1 with 21 seconds left and Rose to the line...he missed both and the Bulls lost.

There was also Game 6 of the Bulls Celtics series...triple overtime the Bulls are up 1 with like 3 seconds left. Rose bricked both FTs, giving Rondo a chance to win the series with a halfcourt heave, but he of course missed

Again, I am not saying this means anything, I'm just adding those selective memory examples to the mix.

The video doesn't show Rose swishing the 2nd one.

I don't understand why people think going 1-2 from the line is some legendary chokejob. Kawhi Leonard and Manu Ginobli did the same thing before Ray Allen's shot in the finals, and nobody remembers that. You could probably find examples of MJ, Kobe, etc. missing FTs in those situations. Nobody shoots 100% from the line.

Noah's free throw numbers in clutch situations the last 5 years:

10-11: 66.7%
11-12: 81.3%
12-13: 88.2%
13-14: 56.5%
14-15: 5/6

Two good years, two bad ones, and not enough data this season to really say.

Since there's debate on Rose, here are his numbers:

10-11: 89.7%
11-12: 61.9%
12-13: n/a
13-14: 84.4%
14-15: 9/10

Other than 11-12, he seems to be a great FT shooter in these situations.

Rose in do or die games in the playoffs. Dunleavy in all other games. Haven't seen Brooks long enough to know how he does under pressure, wouldn't be surprised if he's clutch though. Then Noah

I must truthfuly admit that I was mostly judging by the way my heart is, with no statistical or scientific reason behind it.
I just remember that when he played, he often used to will our team to win, no matter what. Be it a basket, getting fouled, or whatever. Many many games were won by his unwillingness to lose.
And thats why, my vote goes to him.

Eh. He has been known to blow free throws. The answer for me is Dunleavy.
