D-Rose, Taj, Nazr, Chicago youths share stories of tragedy

Post#1 » by Art Vandelay » Thu Jan 29, 2015 10:11 pm

Definitely worth a watch. Very effective video, produced by Joakim and directed by Alex Kotlowitz (who worked on The Interrupters, among other things).

Might wanna be wiser than me and save for after work.

Thanks Art...saw The Interrupters and met a couple of them as well at a University of Chicago event.

Great work being done in the community.

Props to D-Rose, Nazr, Taj and Joakim (Noah?) for doing this. I will definitely check it out once I am home.
For love, not money.

Awesome by Jo to put this together. Great to see Rose in particularly be so candid and vulnerable, really helps add to the gravitas.

I'll post this here as well, posted yesterday. Jo does a heck of a lot.

Nice to see athletes actually use their platform for good, instead of a skittles commercial.
