I got that you don't like stats much when it comes to Rose.

OK. So here's an eye test for those who see through Rose colored glasses. Which PG has the quicker first step? Quicker hands? Quicker release? And which one lost the ball over and over to the quicker defender? We won't mention passing and shooting accuracy... Stats do that better.

First step? Really? You have to ask? Derrick has the quicker step which should be obvious to someone who watched the game because they would see how Derrick got to the rim at will. That person who watched the game would also have noticed that
he wasn't the only one guarding Derrick, Klay also spent a lot of time in DR1's rearview mirror.

He also has quicker hands. Steph didn't harass his dribble at all. When he lost it, those were pretty much unforced errors trying to get fancy behind the back too close to the sideline. You'd know that if you watched the game.

Currie's got a way quicker release (which you can tell from YouTube highlights).

I think there are a lot of people commenting as though they've watched games they haven't on the board this year. I actually waited a day before discussing this one because it was obvious from the radio and the hype that this was a game that needed to be seen to be believed. It would be nice if people did that but it's not a rule and it's a bit much to expect. It's just that when people who didn't watch the game act like they did it so freaking obvious that I'm almost embarrassed for them. It's like watching grown men walk around in hospital gowns with no idea their ass is hanging out the back.

So, it's a good thing you watched the game or I'd feel really really bad for you right now.

Ok. Good talk.

I think most of these people like McBulls actually do watch the game, but just have a poor understanding of the game it self. That's why they just quote box scores over and over again.

Great breakdowns btw!

didn't read through the whole thread but I feel like something that wasn't talked about was how Klay scored at will on Hinrich all night (30 pts on 55% shooting).

I swear, all I was thinking down the stretch is that if we lose this game it will be 100% because of that matchup. Was there any adjustment at all by Thibs? Was so damn frustrating, Klay was shooting over him and scoring easily all game! Luckily they couldn't make a shot down the stretch, because if not they win the game.

truuuuuu *2 chainz voice*

This is where i don't understand how some say Kirk played him well when he actually played him quite awful and if he missed that 3 he would of been the reason we lost for multiple reasons...the guy is just playing to much for the level of play he is playing at which is NOT GOOD

Lets just talk about this game forever instead of the next 20 pt loss to an also-ran.

It was 48% shooting and after his hot start in the first quarter he was pretty quiet. Kirk did a great job.

You're right 48% but he scored at will.
